My experience has been nothing short of fantastic! I've been supplied with the best care I could possibly wish for and the attentiveness of extremely capable professionals to whom I'm very grateful. I would highly recommend this practice if you ever get the chance to register.

Compared to the surgery where my wife is registered and has to make appointments, the drop-in surgery here is first class. I've always had very personal and excellent service from reception and medical staff alike. Phone consultations work really well too.

Doctors rush through appointments. One of the doctors cut me off repeatedly, didn't actually listen to what I was saying. Refuse to do diagnostic tests, refuse to give referrals, even when it's a genuine issue. Receptionists have all been friendly enough, but the doctors have no compassion.

Hi, I need to see a doctor. You'll have to come to the drop-in between 0800-1000. I'm working I can't make those times. You can call between 1100-1115 to request a call back from a doctor for a phone appointment. I did but he can't deal with my case over the phone. Well that's all we can do. Why can't I make an appointment for after 1000. Presumably the doctors work more than 2 hours a day. What do they do for the rest of the day? Admin. Cheers. *Hangs up*

Terrible! Have major back spasms after 3 months of exsplaining myself have a surgeon confirm my problems with back and nerve damage and spasaming I still haven’t received a medication for my back only my nerve damage. For 3 months now I have been in agonising pain not been able to look after my children properly! I finally get a prescription after 3 months and have a reaction. Note this is after crying on the phone exsplaing I couldn’t cope any longer. I called the next day about the side affects with the packet information said discontinue use if any side affects. I waited 7 hours!! For a call back. Calling the surgery 3!!! Times to make sure they haven’t forgot about me exapaining my problems and that I didn’t want to be in pain all wknd. I was assured twice I was on the list and would revive a call before close. And nothing I am now having to call nhs24 as my back is spasaming again! Anyone who suffers from this will understand how difficult and agonising it would be looking after a 9 month old baby that’s crawling. Not a medical professional though! Surgery is a disgrace! I have called every 2 days for 3 months about this and still have been left without the care! Totally against ethics and will be handing in a written complaint!

Firstly the downsides:- Their administrative systems are a bit out-of-date or clunky. For example, while it is the case that you can order prescription items electronically by via an email address, there is no confirmation that the request has been received and actioned. Another example - some other GP practices have online booking systems which allow the patient to find & book GP/nurse slots online. Again, the functionality of the online forms for Leven Medical Practice mean that a person has to respond to answer even these basic requests. Now the upsides:- 1. The people are great! The GPs, nurses and receptionists are always trying to do the best for their patients and are respectful and take a helpful tone. 2. The waiting times are shorter than in the GP practices I have been at in England. Overall verdict:- Room for IT/systems updates, but overall I am a happy patient!

One of the doctors that works here is absolutely horrible. I have consistently found him to be cold, dismissive, and judgmental. He has genuinely put me off going to the doctors. Also, the only way to get an appointment is if you turn up at 8am and wait for about an hour. This is good if you need a same-day appointment, but if you're feeling very sick it sucks to have to stand waiting for ages in the foyer. Overall, I would really recommend you find a different practice. I will say that a couple of the doctors that work here are very kind, which is why I'm giving 2 stars.

The best GP practice that I've been registered at. I've always found the GPs to take anything I say seriously and put in referrals. The reception have always been nice too.
