Nice day out with the family in the Leeds Dock, plenty to do and see as well as taking a boat taxi to Granary Wharf which is £1 per person each way. Nice sceneric city views is totally spectacular. Royal Armouries is also situated here with free entry to explore centuries of armouries around the world.

Stayed in. the Holiday lnn Express Centre Armouries, it was a. great place to stay right next to the Armouries Museum in the Dock area,, lots of places to eat, and to stroll around, seeing all of the Canal boats and watching the swans, was the first time I had stayed in this area but I will definitely come again, away from the hustle and bustle of the City Center, but only 20 mins walk away or just 3£ for a taxi, it is a very clean place, everything looked new and bright, it was obvious people who lived and worked around here took pride in it all.

Swimming in Leeds Dock was certainly an experience, I would absolutely do it again! The lifeguard was friendly and informative and also a good laugh. The length of the swim lane was 120m, I would not recommend if you are not a good swimmer (it is very cold and good breathing control is necessary for being able to keep afloat).
