I rented a terrible property from them. It was poorly managed and I kept getting emails every day to renew and pay my next 6 months rent two months before the end of tenancy agreement. It really depends on the landlord though. Mine was a rear flat in Oriental Place. All I wanted was a safe environment to spend my uni days. But it has been a nightmare thanks to the sick ‘landlords’ and maintenance guys who never get the work done and always been around the doggy property. I had to move out because they gave me a notice and after I tried to negotiate continuing to stay there considering I was about to do an exchange year soon but I got the rejection from Leaders. And for the past over two months after I’ve moved out I kept getting harassing emails again to pay over two thousand pounds rent and cleaning fee. But the thing is I only overstayed for 15 days and I have rented that property for two years. I agreed the landlord could keep the deposit which is over 1300 pounds but they want more. And when I moved in two years ago that property was in a really bad shape. I called Leaders several times to fix the patio door which was a dangerous fire hazard but the door stayed stuck for more than a year. The landlord only agreed to replace the door when it’s time for me to renew the agreement and pay six more months rent. The washing machine was the same case. It was a very transit property. People kept moving in and out. Yelling and smoking pot were daily scene. I’m glad I had to move out even though I wasn’t willing to. I’m living in a new property nearby with more professional agency and I have received efficient response regarding to property management. It’s only me. I don’t have any experience on their sales team and I can’t represent all the tenants who have chosen Leaders. But I would definitely not to make the same mistake again like the one I have made over two years ago. I should have looked around for more places. I was just a clueless Chinese girl who was desperately needing a shelter and I got one, it’s just wasn’t a long term solution. I can’t live in a property with irresponsible and greedy landlord. And I’m sure everyone is the same. I’m trying to let this behind me but I couldn’t do so with their intense harassment :)

Had a really good experience through leaders. From viewing the flat it took us 3 working days until move in day! Really quick and efficient and very friendly staff. Alex dealt with us and he was very professional and helpful all the way through. Saw seb originally who was also a great guy. Deena also helped the process go through quicker!

Leaders seem incredibly disorganised and ineffective, they have too many different groups of people who don’t communicate with one another and they don’t communicate with the tenant well either. They have no knowledge of the content of their tenancy agreement, seem intent on marketing above providing any service and lie to their tenants. Furthermore they are slow so things get done last minute or late and never seem concerned or apologetic for any problems. They ignore questions for the most part, possibly to avoid having to say they don’t know the answer or lie. I wouldn’t ever want to rent from them again nor would I let a property through them as I wouldn’t want another tenant to have this experience either.

I have had excellent service from all the team at Leaders throughout my tenancy. In particular, I would like to say "thank you" to Sophie Pemberton who has been my primary contact. Sophie has always replied promptly to communications and dealt with any issues in a courteous and professional manner.
