In response to another review dogs are NOT permitted at Lauderdale park as small children could be playing. If you want somewhere to walk your dog then Old Station Park around the corner is where you should go. Otherwise Lauderdale park is a safe and enjoyable place for smaller children to play.

Just discovered this hidden gem. You can easily spend 2 hours with young kids between here and neighbouring Old Station Park, plus Sainsburys in between the two for park picnic food! Love the blend of play park and natural activities like the hidden trampolines in the grass.

Lovely little park, nice seats and close to Station Park incase the kids get board you can go there for different things they can play on. A few shops near to grab a coffee or a snack.

The trampolines are broke, but it's still nice. The people who go there have an odd obsession with squirrels. They all freak out and act like they just saw a golden unicorn any time one is within a mile of the place. It's weird.
