Fantastic venue, food amazing, staff brilliant. Rooms and facilities excellent. The only thing I'd suggest for improvement is the lack of air conditioning. Other than that nothing to complain about. Didn't bother me enough to drop a star, but could be an issue. Spa facilities looked to be excellent but didn't use. Can't compliment the staff highly enough throughout who really raise the bar and make it a place I'll be going again with certainty.

I was taken here for a beautiful afternoon tea by friends and we all left saying that we would happily book here again. The staff were friendly and very understanding that one member of our party was no longer able to attend. The food was a great selection of delicious bites ranging from sandwiches and scones to a range of sweet treats. We also had coffee/tea on arrival and chose to go ahead with a glass of prosecco for everyone. The staff were very attentive and the dining area was beautiful. I'd be interested in booking a room to try out everything they offer.

Visited today for an afternoon tea. Beautiful building, sympathetically restored from the old Fire Service headquarters. Booked in at reception, very friendly staff. Afternoon tea was beautiful, & very attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. As much tea/coffee as you wanted, & we were not rushed at all. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Went here for a spa day with afternoon tea. We enjoyed an hour in the relaxation space - which included an outdoor heated pool - before having full body massages. The therapists were attentive and listened to us and we both really enjoyed our treatments. The afternoon tea was genuinely the best I've ever had - the cake section was so varied and I enjoyed every last bite. Have already told my friends about the place and booked in again!

Booked a suite for my partners birthday and a spa day. Absolutely incredible, the lunch was delicious, and the spa was amazing. Had room service dinner and was top quality food and great service. Only complaint was the creamy mashed potatoes, whilst delicious, weren't creamy and weren't mashed properly. Told the lady that brought it up and she passed it onto the chefs. Would throughly recommend the steak sandwich, was delicious. Again, breakfast and service was top notch, rooms were spacious and inviting. Would 100% go again.
