Both myself and my brother are registered here. Despite him being severely depressed, they cancelled his prescription for his medication -ignoring that it's an addictive medication-. Every appointment is a fight for treatment and a decent quality of care. Would not recommend to anyone else and am contemplating taking this complaint higher due to the sheer negligence of their 'care'. I've been to them more than six times for the same skin condition, only for them to not even examine me and diagnose antibiotics without an examination. Poor care, poor patient liaisons, poor practice. Very dissatisfied.

Completely useless cant even print out a simple prescription! Instead I've been left 3 days without my medication that I pay for! Knowing full well that I will go light headed,have head flutters and my depression will get worse without the medication in my system

What can I say except, BRILLIANT, the staff try their best to help in every way they can, and Dr K. VERNON has been my doctor for many years now and I can honestly say, I don't think I would ever be able to find another doctor that could match his understanding and professional service. I would highly recommend this practice. :-)

Wouldnt give my daughter a prescription for asthma inhaler which she was told she needed by nhs direct gp the night before .. this was monday they told her it would be ready by friday! I phoned and they said it would be at chemist by the morning which i said wasnt good enough for an inhaler shed been without all weekend ... eventually said she could pick it up that afternoon ...lies... it wasnt at the chemist till 10am the following morning .. disgraceful when asthma is a serious life threatening condition

After being reffered from the QA hospital to this health centre last Sunday (appointment took place at 10:45), I had what might have been the worst medical appointment whilst being in the UK so far. After telling the nurse practitioner that I have had fevers for 6 days (!) already, a ‘diagnosis’ in form of a 2 minute heart rate, throat and ear examination took place. The diagnoses sounded that I just have some virus. After politely suggesting whether a CRP test (usual indicator for bacterial diseases) which takes 5 minutes might be done, I was instantly refused and told that it would be ‘elevated anyway’ as it is clearly a virus, that I have just ‘a manflu (yep..), or just some cold’. Well, after spending 4 hours at the emergency department at the QA hospital where a brilliant doctor took care of me last evening, it turned out that I HAD elevated CRP, but NO, I did not have flu, ‘surprisingly’ not even a manflu or a cold but a bacterial chest infection for which I received long term antibiotics . What really personally insulted me however is that the nurse treated me during the entire appointment like a total hypochondriac and with ‘subtle’ indications told me what am I actually doing there . I get it, she might get a few now and then. But that’s no excuse to treat every patient like one and not do her job. Funniest thing she told me was that I can walk and talk so I strike her as healthy. Great. Next time I guess I will just come when I won’t be able to walk and talk. I hope that the nurse in question reads this and reflects on the way she treats patients and the way she does her job.

Andrea and her team are amazing from the reception you get when you first walk in to the dentistry that is undertaken!! Yesterday I had a root canal done on one of my rear molars', the procedure was extensive and Andrea and her dental nurse Emma were absolutely wonderful; they were both very caring and they made sure that I knew what was happening at each stage. Andrea made sure that I was pain free and that I did not feel a thing. I felt very confident in their abilities and the procedure that was being carried out. Emma was very attentive and made sure that I felt warm and that I wasn't dribbling on myself all the way through, she paid attention to how comfortable I was and intermittently suctioned away my saliva, this may seem like a small thing, but it just shows their attention to detail. When I left and the numbness wore off, I was pain free and up until now I haven't even felt the slightest bit of soreness, which is a testament to what a brilliant job they both did. I actually now look forward to going to the dentist, which I'm sure not a lot of people can say.

I can't praise enough the professionalism of all staff . Dr Andrea who repaired my broken tooth was so delicate and gentle that I could fall asleep while having treatment , but had to keep my mouth open. Hygenist explained how to keep my teeth cleaned and look after them between visits, again very professional service with a smile. Can recommend that surgery with all my heart. Thanks Lake Road dental practise!!!!!! travelled all the way from London as I'm so happy and I know I'm in good hands.

Being dentist myself, I can only thank Andrea and Peter and their team for doing such an amazing job. I had my wisdom tooth out today in Lake road Dental Practice by Andrea and I honestly could not have received better care, anaesthetics just wore off and I am completely paifree 👌🏼. Thanks guys for being so great and so caring. World class!
