LadyLux Hair Salon – edinburgh

I had an absolutely lovely experience at Ludylux. I went in for a cut and toner on my medium length (but extremely thick) hair. The service was great, and every member of staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. My stylist was delightful - she paid close attention to what I wanted for my hair and gave me a fantastic result. My hair is so thick that my arms usually get tired half way through blow-drying, but not the champs here at Ladylux. I wouldn't hesitate to book my next appointment here.

I've been going to ladylux for hair extensions for a few years now. Sometimes for length bit more recently just to add some thickness to my fairly fine hair. The colour match is PERFECT and quite often people dont even know I have extensions in. I wear tapes although have worn micro rings in the past and think its just personal preference. The quality is great when well looked after and I can get 12 months + out of set. I also get my colour done with Becci who is amazing. So professional and and has worked hard to get inside my head an understand exactly what I am looking for in terms of tone and then cut.

I visited Ladylux on Friday 6th March 2020 to get a trim on my last haircut, only to get home and realise the neckline was squint and one side wasn't cut straight and the other side was shorter and NOTICEABLE. So I contacted them and they couldn't fix until Monday 9th March 2020. So I went back and the lady that cut it the first time tried to fix it only she was trying to straighten sides with a clipper and cut my Bob around my ears, which I never asked for. To show me it in the mirror the finished style I couldn't believe it. So I had to pay another hairdressers £42 to fix it but she could only do so much with it, I complained Again to Ladylux and they refuse to refund me £48 as I had to stay in all weekend, the embarrassment on both occasions and the fact I had to pay another hairdresser to fix the state of my hair. I wouldn't recommend it and the stylist didn't seem experienced and plus they'll take your money, make a mess of your hair and refuse to accept responsibility that it was them that cut it twice and didn't cut it right.

for me they are the best in color correction and especially if you want to be a dream blonde, I hope to receive discount on my next visit 😉

Absolutely love LadyLux! All the girls are so lovely, and my hair is perfect every time. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair, they always manage to get my hair exactly how I want it!! Aimee and Steph have done my hair previously but all of the girls are amazing, would highly recommend

I've recently been to LadyLux and had my hair done by Becci. She was super friendly, helpful and was more than happy for me to show her pictures of what I had in mind for my hair. I left with the exact picture i showed her and my hair is in amazing condition! The salon is beautiful, all the girls were lovely and the music was amazing! Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks to get more colour again xxx
