La Mimosa, what a little gem this restaurant is. Lovely people, welcoming with superb customer service. The Italian Menu is varied to suit everyone. Quality of the dishes we had, from the Pizza's, pastas, ravioli etc.. were delicious. As were the desserts, that looked and tasted so so good. Great ambience, bright and welcoming restaurant. Definitely will be visiting on our next trip to Cambridge in coming months. An absolutely delight.

The restaurant is situated in a lovley setting by the river and park. The outdoor seating has a great ambience on a lovley day. The place is family run and provides a lovely service. The pasta dishes were average, however. I ordered 3 different dishes to try a variety but none of them particularly stood out. The salmon pasta was far too rich and salty. Whilst the place is lovely, I believe the kitchen has more potential than what I experienced.

On a cold blowy autumn night La Mimosa totally delivered when the rest of Cambridge was insanely busy. A bit off the beaten path (and all the better for it) but great food and fantastic service. Totally recommend, thank you La Mimosa.

Ok food but there is definitely better italian food in Cambridge. Do not go for pizza, the crust was really not good and likely not homemade. Nice service.
