Harry Sheppard did a fantastic job in selling our house, he went well beyond the call of duty at weekends and evenings and formed a rapport with the buyers which was really helpful in bringing the protracted negotiations to a conclusion. He was good handling his clients too and keeping us (reasonably) calm, helped by our having complete confidence in him.

I have dealt with many estate agents over the years, but my experience in buying a property through Knight Frank in Oxford was excellent and special. Firstly, William Kirkland was proactive and spotted the exact property I was looking for and moved with speed to get the ball rolling. Without William's proactive approach, I doubt I would have achieved the purchase. It was a tricky transaction which required sharp and quick thinking and dealing with a complex set of circumstances. William was extremely professional and it was most helpful that he was very realistic about key aspects, as we moved through the different stages of the process. He always followed up quickly, on the same day and communicated clearly. His was always the last note on file and the most recent call. We never had to wait long to know where we were in the process and where we stood on the various matters. There were several challenging aspects during the negotiations and William helped me navigate these with useful insights and guidance, which I have not experienced with other agents. William managed to bring a pace and balance to the negotiations which meant that in the end, neither party walked away and the deal was done! I think one of the main things William brought to the table was how he managed both sides expectations, without creating any bias to one side or the other. We both felt fairly treated and both achieved our objectives, happily. Having worked and participated in the professional services industry internationally, I am able to say that there is no doubt that William Kirkland is quite unique in the estate agency world and the most professional and competent estate agent I have met, with exacting standards and capabilities not easily found elsewhere. I highly recommend William Kirkland if you want to buy or sell a property in Oxford. I also found Knight Frank's Oxford office staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and highly competent. I was impressed with Knight Frank's reports, brochures and services which keep one well informed and up to date on all property trends and opportunities.

We can not recommend Harry and his colleagues highly enough. They were professional, personable and sold our gorgeous but quirky house with amazing care and attention. They spent real quality time understanding the quirks and what we needed and were exceptional at dealing with our prospective buyers.
