Put simply - The best ladies Gym in the Lake Macquarie area. Kirby has made a real community of supportive, encouraging, strong ladies. She also makes each of us feel at home from the minute we walk through the door. The workouts are never the same and always so much variety as Ashley- one of our Trainers likes to put us to the test and push us to the best of our abilities every class. Helen - another Trainer is kind and strong and very encouraging. This place is the bomb! Kirby is always seeking out new ideas for classes, timetables, stretch classes and a weekend boot camp is now run once a month. I highly recommend coming along for a trial - by the end of the 7 day's- you will be hooked!

I joined KBF permanently after doing a 6 week mums and bubs program. Not only was that program an amazing introduction back in to exercise in a small group, but it also focused on pelvic floor, muscle separation and building confidence. I’m so glad I did it. Kirby is approachable, patient, knowledgeable, real, genuine, invests in us daily and encourages women to invest in themselves. The focus is always being happy, healthy and confident. I love that at KBF there are women of all shapes, sizes, fitness levels and ages. Everyone can feel comfortable walking thru the door. The trainers all bring different things to the classes and there is a class that suits everyone. I’m also doing a few 1 on 1 PT sessions to build my confidence and skill which has been amazing! If you’re thinking of giving KBF a try, you won’t be sorry.

I started three weeks ago with absolutely no experience and am now doing 2-3 sessions a day. Kirby and the other trainers have been nothing but patient and motivating. Only a short time in and I am feeling stronger, clearer and happier. I absolutely love all the ladies who attend these classes and I wouldn’t want to start my journey anywhere else with anyone else ❤️

5/ 5

Before I found KBF I was not a ‘gym’ type. I hated the low confidence I had to step foot in any gym. I never achieved optimal results due to this and many other factors. But then when my 2nd child was 3 months old I stepped foot into KBF. I loved that I could give it a go for 1 week and see if it was for me. I worked out very quickly that it was not just a female gym, it was a welcoming community of like-minded women just wanting to get fit and do it with a few laughs and in a supportive environment. I signed up straight away and haven’t looked back. Kirby is an incredible person, it is clear she wants what is best for you and you are not just another number in the bucket of members. Her trainers are incredible and always push you to your maximum- making sure you get all you can from each workout. I’ve had many PT sessions with Ash and she has helped me to reach goals I never dreamt of! Helen, Sally and Monica are all incredible and bring their own twist to each class. If I haven’t convinced you already then let’s not forget the kids play area included in your membership. All mums are really attentive and regularly observing to ensure each other’s kid’s are happy and safe. All trainers also help out when they can. This gym is something you will not find anywhere. I have lost 13kgs and become stronger and fitter than I have ever been before! Even through injuries I have still trained at KBF and Kirby and other trainers went out of their way to modify all classes for me. I have made amazing friendships and bonds at KBF and I am eternally grateful to Kirby and her team for their selfless approach to helping women find their confidence and develop a healthier happier lifestyle! Remember your health is an investment and it should not have a price! You are worth it Gf! Jamie x
