When I phoned their surgery today to speak to a doctor, the receptionist asked me what it was about, then told me a Dr. Crothers will phone me back? When I asked politely how they spelt Dr. Crothers name as I was writing down when they would call me back, the female receptionist cheekily shouted to me through the phone how it was spelt, she then hung up on me before I could ask about anything else. It's not what I was expecting on a Monday morning, phoning in to ask a doctor about a medical problem I had. This upset me. Receptionists are supposed to be friendly all the time to the patients at their Medical Practice and Surgery. They also should ask, if there's anything else I can do for you, not just hang up the phone! I noticed in your question section on Google Maps, somebody asked: When we get letters and texts from our GP to make an appointment to see a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse to review our conditions. Can a medication review be done over the phone? Is this possible, if they don't want us to come into the surgery?
