Very inconsiderate drivers

I relied on this taxi service after calling three other local ones who did not pick up the phone. I arranged for a pick up to the airport the night before. The taxi was a few minutes early. The driver jumped out to help load my bags. He was so polite and friendly and also made very interesting conversation on the journey. It was a pleasant non stressful transfer to the airport and I would recommend them and the lovely young Nasser - the driver! Thank you

DODGY BUSINESS BEWARE! Ordered two taxis for our group as there was 6 of us, I called up and they said they wouldn’t do this for us as they had no one in the area. I then went on the app and booked the taxis no problem and they turned up just fine which was very strange as shortly before being told they couldn’t do so. We had also booked taxis for our return trip. The first taxi arrived and took the first group home and charged £22.50 as I was quoted, when the second taxi arrived for my group and we were going back to the EXACT same location as the first group bossman said it’s £35 and became slightly aggressive when questioned about the price and ignoring us when we asked why the prices is different the the other groups. Don’t use this company just use an UBER instead.

We pre-booked our taxi with a quoted price of £22.50, the drive then told us it was £35. It was at the end of a night out and we needed to get back to the Hotel so we just paid it. We then got a receipt for in the morning for £22.50, so clearly the taxi driver pocketed the extra.

Used their cabs a few times.Reliable and timely. If for some reason they cannot pick you up in a reasonable time they are straightforward and do not BS you.

I would never use kingways cars again they are rude and obnoxious. Got to my destination at 1.10am this morning 7th November 2021 with my 10yr old daughter. Driver advised me he doesn't take card only cash, I had no cash on me, I offered to the ring the office and pay over the phone he said no it takes to long, this point the fare was £8.20 he kept meter running and drove around looking for a cash machine. None around so he drove me back home to get cash meter still running now at £20. Managed to find a machine card wouldn't work he huffed and puffed at me, went to another one wouldn't let me take money out this machine was 2mins across road from my house, I had to leave my 10yr old daughter in the taxi while I ran home to get money and run back to tesco Express in cheadle heath. Metre now on £29, drove us back to emergency drs at this point 10mins late for appointment. Drive 10mph and muttering to himself. Got back to destination I asked him to stop on corner ignored me and drove down a road which was dark cost me £40. I was 20mins late now for my daughters appointment.i was in tears shaking and having to walk my daughter for 5mins at 1.50am.
