Went to return a parcel via recorded delivery and when I started to read out the address, I was told I needed a label or needed to write it down on paper and stick it on the front. The company I was returning the parcel to, didn’t offer a label/QR code, just an address. So I politely asked if I could have a piece of paper, a pen and some sellotape, so I could take care of this there and then instead of having to come back. I was told ‘we don’t have any’. Great customer service, a post office doesn’t have these essentials or you just can’t be bothered to actually help your customers?! Absolute joke! You should maybe learn a thing or two from the Pharmacy near the top of the shops, such great customer service and friendly staff. Been going there for years and they always have a friendly chat. T

I went in to drop of a package since I heard the shop is now under new management. The owner provided excellent customer service! This encouraged me to do a small grocery shop as I live nearby. I am definitely making this my go-to post office and will visit again for my grocery shops!

Ovoid this place. I had been going there for many years as I live locally but would rather travel a bit further. The lady who works there during the day is just plain rude! She has no idea of “customer service”. If the new owners want this place to succeed get rid of her! I’m not the only person to say this, please read other reviews! With regard to the stock they sell, please check the dates on the products as the staff don’t. I pointed this out to the owner ( well I think it was the owner) but the the item in question was just put back on the shelf. I’ve made a call to trading standards so hopefully they will force the issue soon. I run my own business and appreciate that at this time things aren’t easy but this is when you have to go the extra mile with customer service, something that the owner should be mindful of. Sort out your awful staff, sort out your stock, and make the shop clean and welcoming and you’ll do well. If you don’t it will definitely fail.

I went in to buy a stamp for a small parcel and the gentleman before me was kept waiting by the lady at the desk while there was a queue of about 6 other people waiting to be served. After the elderly gentleman had left I went to the counter and the lady was standing on the side talking on the phone while I'm standing there waiting. It's not as if she didn't know I was there, she looked at me and looked away and carried on with her conversation for a solid few minutes. I waved the parcel at her a couple of times, but she again just looked at me and carried on with her conversation as if she was in an empty shop. Response to owner's response: I appreciate that the post office can get busy at times, but keep in mind, the lady behind the desk was speaking in Punjabi which I understand; the conversation was not at all about any IT issues or about a printer, it was a personal conversation. Regardless of whether the printer was working or not, I came in to buy a stamp for which the printer wouldn't have been needed and there were others in front of me who were waiting to be served who were simply waiting to buy a chocolate bar. Yes we should take it easy, but let's not make excuses for poor customer service and then blame the customer.
