Ordered a set of UPVC windows and doors for the house in April after doing some research and reading generally good things about Kingfisher. They had someone come over, measure up the windows, go through colour and style options etc and give us a quote which was a little higher than others, but we were prepared to pay extra for the high quality we'd read about. Lead time was around 6 weeks which worked great for us, and a date was set straight away for installation. Installation day comes and the installers (excellent manners and professionalism; really top guys) straight away said that for some reason the patio doors hadn't come in. Not their fault so couldn't be upset with them, and they got on with the job. The guys put floor covering down, cleaned up after working in one area, re-installed alarm door sensors... top stuff over the two-day install. Noticed a couple of things at the end though: one of the windows was a different style to the others, and in a bedroom they'd put in frosted glass and not clear glass. Not contractors fault but at the end of the job they called the Installation Manager and I was told that they'd have to reorder the frame and glass, but would do everything that needed to be done a couple of weeks later when things came in. Just over a month later (and after the date I was provisionally given for installation of the rest of the order), I tried calling the installation team a couple of times and sent some emails to try and find out when it would be installed. Finally heard back from them and had to wait a little longer than I'd hoped but it would all be sorted now. Different installation team arrived this time, but again right on time. Introduced themselves and said they were here to install a new window frame and set of doors. Awesome, and the frosted glass switching out and clear glass putting in? Disappointingly, was told that there was no clear glass for them to pick up when they got things for this address. Installation went well once again, and the installers were kind enough to point out to me a very small crack in one of the panes of glass on a door. I would have probably never noticed it so credit to them for letting me know. Said it would need a new pane of glass ordering, but that they'd be able to do that back at the shop. These things can happen with big glass units so that was fine. It then took me around about a week of trying to contact the installation team through email and phone calls (ringing out). Finally got a call back and was told that for an unknown reason, the clear glass didn't get ordered for that second installation. But that he'd call back in around a week once the new pieces of glass had come in and were ready to install. Happy to say that I was called and the rest of the installation went without a hitch. Interestingly the process sped up hugely at the end, and on the day my install was completed, I'd been emailed my invoice and asked to give them a 5-star review before the installers had actually got to my property! Raised my eyebrow at how soon they sent that through a little at that considering the length of time it had taken for other parts of the order. So, to sump up: Quality of product - excellent Sales team - very good initial service providing me with a quote. Installation team - Excellent, particularly the first team that visit Installation process - much longer than it should have been The big question: Would I recommend them again? That's a tough one. The windows are great and so probably yes, but I'd talk about my experience to a someone considering them, as for the price and considering other reviews I was expecting a much smoother process for installation, and not expecting it needing three separate visits over around 8 weeks.

Excellent from start to finish. I had pretty much everything done - 24 windows (4 bay windows), 2 composite doors, French doors and bi-fold doors installed. From the start there was no pressure selling, just useful advice and a good quote. I didn't get chased by phone or email or anything and when I was ready to proceed then a survey was booked in. Once a deposit was paid then a fitting date was set. The workers who came to fit were excellent - working non-stop until it end of day to get the job done. There was an issue with one of the windows but the after service was excellent - they held their hands up and agreed to rectify as soon as possible. Overall extremely happy and will certainly recommend to anyone. They are big enough to survive (and offer the guarantee), but small enough to care, and that sums them up.

Kingfisher Windows came recommended to us from a family friend and we are delighted with the product supplied. We were looking for a minimal section aluminium frame and the Serior Ali-Vu profile definitely met our specification Our project has been complicated by needing the windows at different stages and Kingfisher understood this from the start. Their sales team are very professional, they even arranged for a viewing at the factory where the sections were produced as the samples sometimes don't convey the final product's appearance. Once the installation team arrived they were polite, careful and helpful. All they needed was access to a kettle and they were sorted, very self-sufficient! I would not hesitate to recommend them and have done so already to several colleagues who are considering replacement windows.

Had 2 composite doors fitted, polite staff at their showroom / head quarters. On fitting day Scott turned up right on time and cracked on, treated my house with respect and was pleasant to deal with. Doors themselves in our eyes are very nice and we are very happy with them, tiny spec of blue on the white internal slab on one of the doors, but so small I struggled to find it. Please pass on my thanks to your fitter Scott. It's very early days and if anything changes I will change my review / score accordingly.

We recently had 9 new windows and 2 composite doors fitted by Kingfisher windows. From the Outset, we knew we were in good hands after the initial survey by Jeremy Steele who carefully Went through our requirements and design details. He gave us helpful advice along the way for which we were extremely grateful . Confirmation of our exact requirements in terms of design, colour, style and price were agreed and a date for fitting. The installation manager Paul kept us informed of progress and the time scale went to plan, despite the fact we had gone through the COVID 19 pandemic and the obvious effects this has had on all businesses. The 2 fitters Mel and Tony are a great credit to the company. They protected our flooring throughout and worked extremely carefully so as not to damage the surroundings. They both carried out the installation with the upmost attention to detail and professionalism. They worked solidly throughout the job. We cannot speak highly enough of them. Kingfisher have done a fantastic job for us, to a very high standard, on time, on budget, and snag free. We can not recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic service from quote to installation. From our first phone call until the windows were quality checked after installation- the customer service has been exemplary. All the staff we have dealt with have been friendly, effective, efficient and just lovely to talk to. Also, it was a great price, beat the other quotes we received significantly and for a better looking and quality product. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kingfisher Windows.
