It's a wonderful day out. I mean that - it takes a day to get round the whole place. Its huge, with lots of places and space to sit down and relax. I'd love to do a tour with my son when he's a couple of years older. I think children aged 2-3 will be a little more receptive. He loved it, I loved it nonetheless. Definitely recommended!

Kew garden left me speechless, its just magic, but have in mind that is just plants and garden so you have to love them as I do! Take at least 3 h to properly enjoy the walks, the smells, the colours...beautiful displays of never seen plants ( at least by me) I have to came back!

The Chihuly glass sculptures are fantastic just as they were in 2005 when his work was previously exhibited there. A magnificent day in terms of searing temperatures and blue skies added to their uplifting effect.

A quieter entrance to the garden, with a short eak to the pagoda and japanese garden. Ticket purchase is rather slow, but if you already have it then it is a better entrance choice

Kew Gardens is a lovely place to visit, at any time of the year. Lion Gate is one of the ways in. We found it easier, having arrived at Richmond Station, as it is much closer than the main entrance. It's about ten minutes walk from the station, and the route is discreetly sign posted. The feature of this small entrance is the stone lion above the arch, which has aged over the years. Entrance is actually via a smaller gate in the wall, I guess to better control visitor flow to the ticket office just inside. We have bought online, and helpers were alongside the queue, and let us skip the ticket buyers having checked our digital tickets. Maps of the grounds are also available at the ticket kiosk for free. If you are coming by train I recommend this over the main entrance.

A magical show put on for all to enjoy regardless of age! Definitely book the remaining January dates - whilst a little pricey I think the value comes in taking your time to really explore every art installation. Highly recommend parking on the inner residential streets which offer late night free parking.
