A great place to stay especially if you're visiting the Gardens. Also a great pub and restaurant. Breakfast was brilliant and our evening meal there was delicious. I recommend this hotel, however, I must say there is no lift to the Upper floors.

I love Kew Gardens and am a holder of a Kew Gardens annual family pass. I go alone with a book, with friends just to meet for coffee (and to get those steps in) or with my grandchildren as it has some amazing open spaces where they can run around and play hide and seek. Everytime I visit Kew I discover something new... this time I found a secluded area where I was able to take the photograph of the male pheasant below beautiful bird, great colouring and also quite curious. Although Kew has facilities to purchase food it's great for a picnic but no barbecues (please remember to put your rubbish in the bin or take it home and leave the area as you find it)

3/ 5

I was here for lunch and some drinks. The sunday roast was excellent, with a good portion well priced and the drinks available were good quality with a breadth of selection. Despite these positives, the service was horrendous. While I don't doubt they were short staffed when we attended, it took over 30 minutes between asking for the bill and our server returning. A set of drinks we'd ordered had been forgotten, when we chased this up the server rushedly brought them to our table, in doing so they spilled some of the drink over our table but made no motion to help clean this up - we had to go back to the bar ourselves to ask for some blue roll to clean up their mess.
