Kathy’s Nails Spa & Beauty – Mackay

Absolutely will NOT be going there again!!!! I went in for a full set of Acrylic nails 2 days ago. The lady i got did a very rushed and poor job. She cut 3 of my fingers and one of those cuts is now infected!!!! She continued to use instruments on me, even though she saw i was clearly bleeding. She did ask if i was ok... but did nothing to clean or help my cuts!

Kathy's USE to be a great place to get a great service. Now it's hit and miss. I've being going to get my nails done at Kathy's for 2yrs and lately I've been very disappointed. Manicure without oil or moisturiser, nails filed crooked and polish streaky or missing in areas. Pedicure where I was cut and my leg massage part with moisturiser was missed completely. When I pointed this out and asked for a discount, the lady lied. My nails either look fantastic or cheap and I'm still expected to pay full price. I was hoping this would change as I wanted to stay loyal but I will not be going back. What happened to the Lady who was running it a couple of months ago? This business has gone way down hill since you left.

Really unenjoyable experience. I’m not from Mackay but thought I’d treat my daughter and I a pedi. The person I had was so so hating her job and made me feel like I was an inconvenience the entire time. Couldn’t wait to get out. Don’t bother going there, many other places where you’re made to feel welcome for spending your money with them.

Poor quality for $60 I was very disappointed and for the fact the fell off within 1.5 weeks. Front desk lady was very rude about myself moving out of the way for other people while trying to sign in, manicure lady nice but for simple set of white acrylics not worth going. Don’t waste your money and time go somewhere else

My nails have only lasted 2.5 weeks the last 3 times. You take too many people in and just sit them there without a time frame and we wait over an hour just to get served. Warn people how long the wait is so they can do something else or encourage bookings. And it's very unsettling having the staff speaking in a different language constantly and laughing. We have no idea what they are saying and it feels like we are being spoken about. The pedicures are good I have never had a problem with them just the acrylic nails.
