Karine's is a lovely place to have a coffee and delicious croissant or a tasty baguette filled with your choice of a variety of fine cheeses and other things. The service is always friendly and efficient and can be delivered in perfect English, French, or Spanish. The cheese and snack selection from France is wonderful. I highly recommend this place!

My partner and I have been living nearby for 3 years and we love it. Some of the best sandwiches, best coffee and friendliest staff in Edinburgh. There's croissants, homemade cakes and a range of imported french brands of biscuits/oils/soft drinks etc. Most importantly there is a superb rotating selection of french meats, cheeses, and wines. Karine is passionate about them and knows her stuff, always making sure you get what you want within your budget.

Cute cafe with a great selections of sandwiches. Their cake options are also outstanding. A place to have breakfast or lunch!

I've come here three times and have always noticed the owner shouts at her staff and is too fierce with customers. The atmosphere can be too frenetic. However, they have lots of authentic produce and good coffee.

This is such a lovely spot to get a coffee and pastry or lunch. You MUST try their almond cakes, they are delicious.

The service is terrible. I felt very unwelcome in there! No smile, no warmth, no friendliness from what I believe to be the manager. Food was alright.
