Spa treatment - 5 stars, amazing. Really enjoyed the scrub and the massage. Nice warming massage bed. Felt very relaxed after. The wet spa area was lovely! Due to Covid precautions we had it to ourselves (booked our time slot) and enjoyed the experience of the snow room, stream, sauna, foot bath with salts and the spa. Hotel - staff were excellent. Very lovely to communicate with before and during the stay. They left us a lovely card and macaroons for our anniversary. The room itself was fairly spacious (executive) and the bed was very very comfortable! Had a great night's sleep. The bathroom needs an update. The breakfast was lovely as you could order a cooked meal.

I’m quite disappointed to be honest, it was my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary and even after friends recommended other hotels, I chose K West thinking it would be amazing. I paid £69 extra for the romantic bundle which was for one balloon, chocolate strawberries and a jug of smoothie (as we don’t drink alcohol, I had told them this several times before booking but they still left a bottle of champagne which I had to call to get replaced), that is an absolute rip off and nothing romantic about it at all! And the room is executive? It’s a standard room which has not met my expectations at all! Why is there a desk in the room, the wooden furniture is old and needs replacing and has marks on it. The TV is positioned in such a way that you can’t see it if you are sitting on the sofa or lying on the bed. I would rather have booked a Holiday Inn room and spent the rest of the money on a fun activity or a better surprise. We have been in some basic hotels who have offered complimentary toothbrushes & toothpaste but after forgetting our toothpaste, I called reception only to find out it was £5?!? Like £1/2 I would understand but £5??? The hallway leading up to our room stunk of weed the whole evening which was disgusting. Whilst waiting at reception to check in, the people in front of me in both queues were complaining, I just don’t think they have enough staff to cope or the desire to provide good customer service. Breakfast was not nice either, we left our plates more than full and wish we didn’t upgrade from continental to full. We didn’t bother visiting the spa which was the initial reason why we chose this hotel because I just expected there would have been more disappointment. Also, wish there was a shower rather than a bath tub which didn’t look very hygienic. The only plus I can think off is that the chips which we ordered were nice. Overall, would NEVER come back!

Oh my god, I see some people below moaning about having a bad anniversary but I don't believe they communicated with the hotel to organise a unforgettable romantic night. I mean, I'll be definitely coming back. Thank you K west.

I just wanted to add to my previous review that I forgot to mention as there was so much wrong with this hotel , but our room looked like it hadn’t been ‘ cleaned ‘ in years. It was COVERED in dust that a simple wipe over would of fixed so clearly the cleaners don’t bother. The bathroom was honestly dirty, definitely not a bathroom for a relaxing bath. Shower head was dirty and green. No toothpaste or toothbrushes were provided we asked 4 times for tooth paste and it never got delivered so we stopped trying and went to a shop to buy some. And the rooms are not soundproof AT ALL. We could here every single conversation happening outside our room. Which led to us having the worst sleep as there was people walking through the halls , screaming , blasting music. Even having a conversation. It was hard enough to sleep with the one rock solid pillow they provide. Honestly the state of the rooms and the whole hotel in general was just vile. Google won’t let me attach pictures. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE

Entrance to the hotel was a bit off putting, however on entry to the spa it was wonderful. Friendly staff and fabulous facilities. I didn't want to leave. The snow room and pool were fabulous and invigorating. My back massage was so relaxing. I will absolutely definitely be back asap.

The hotel stay was fine. The spa treatments however, were fab! I opted for a de-stress deep tissue massage and got Kristina who is incredible!!! She is strong and will use excellent pressure to really get deep into muscles if you allow her. Wouldn’t go back to anyone else! Ask for Kristina.

The rooms are a good size, but the hold place could do with a face lift. Rooms are cold and take long time to heat up. If your a guess at the hotel you only save £5 from a member of the public for the use of the spa facilities. So it might be worth staying somewhere nicer and popping down to K West to use the facilities. Hope this help, I stayed in November 2021
