Artland was interesting but a little bit creepy. It’s definitely more enjoyable when the weather is great. I’ve been waiting for a refund of a double booking for over a month now & I still haven’t heard anything back from them..

Beautiful place, full of nature, art and silence. Not too crowded despite the weekend and tickets reasonably priced. I spent 4 hours there but will definitely come back next year for the whole day! Most of the attractions are in the woodland area, which makes finding artworks a fun game. I highly recommend both for adults and kids.

Really nice walk through silent and calm woods with the occasional sculpture. Most of them were really good but a few were definitely not my taste. Cafe was a bit overpriced, £3 for a small tub of ice cream but £22 for all day entrance was quite cheap. Recommend.

This place is amazing. Absolutely loved it. I went for a walk whilst my wee girl was in a 2 hour class. U can do it all on about that time but would have been good to take a bot more time. Perfect sunny day in fairness.

Amazingly tranquil and mystical atmosphere. We got lucky and had a beautiful sunny day. I was totally taken back by what is there (no spoilers). Very surprising when all you can see is farmland. Some of the arty stuff went a bit over my head but it didn't really matter. The map they give you at the start explains everything. A bit pricey but was worth it. It's at the first junction at East Calder coming from Edinburgh. It's well sign posted.

Amazing gardens and the art is so intriguing! Its fascinating, it stretches your mind. I love that you go right up the art and touch it, the cells are incredible to walk on, a real mind bender. The estate itself is so beautiful with the woodlands themselves simply exquisite to walk through. Unfortunately the cafe serves everything in take away cups and plastic - even though its biodegradable, there is so much waste - I saw them putting the cups in large bin liners - kinda defeats the point of biodegradable.
