Almost didn't use this dry cleaners because of the neg reviews but took a chance as it's across the road from me. Dropped off a suit on Saturday, just picked it up. Friendly service, suit clean and only cost £15 which seems reasonable so I'm happy. Will use again

I've never had anything come back dirty, but the staff are but particularly friendly. I didn't realise they close half an hour early on Wednesdays, and I arrived 10 mins after their closing time to pick up my shirts. I was hopeful, as they were still inside, however the lady refused to let me take them, even when I said I needed them for a wedding. I'm going to have to buy a new shirt because of her unkindness. When I finally pick up my stuff next week will be the last time I visit this shop.

I'm sad to say I read the bad reviews and when't there any way. Awful service, the fact that Johnson's lets this place keep going is making me reconsider my membership.

Travelled to the shop in order to send off a UPS parcel. The sales assistant kept on insisting on documentation, while at the same time being totally clueless as to what it was he needed. In addition, he put me off sending my documents through UPS/ Johnsons The Cleaners after being told 'Why would you send your documents off from here? We leave the parcels around on the floor, it's a shop?'. Fair enough, you've convinced me.

Attempted to use the UPS parcel drop off ... only to be told (rather abrasively ) they only accept letters and not parcels, wish I had known (the UPS site lists it as a parcel drop off).

I got to the store 15 minutes before it closed at 5.15 as had rushed straight from work. Both staff members were extremely rude and unhelpful. The Johnson's staff said he'd already closed the till and the Timpson's bloke questioned why i "hadn't gone to a dry cleaner closer to work then". This is not to mention the fact the advertised opening times were inaccurate on a bank holiday and caused another wasted trip. I needn't have come back the next day. Besides the stench in the store I do not want my clothes cleaned by such unprofessional staff.

I had an urgent need to clean a blazer within the hour, late in the day. The chap turned back on all of the drycleaning equipment and cleaned it to an impeccable standard within the hour. He was friendly, great at his job and charged me an incredibly reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs any drycleaning work done. Best customer experience I've had in years.
