John Radcliffe Hospital oxford

Went to JR today and had excellent service on ward 5B. Staff were so friendly and kind and I didn't have to wait long. Outcome was good thankfully but could not have been treated better. Thank you.

We have had amazing support and help. My grandson and my daughter could not have been in better hands. Thank you all a million. We will always be grateful. You are all amazing.

We can't thank the staff at the John Radcliffe Children's Hospital enough. From the time we arrived to being discharged, everyone was so kind and patient, explaining everything so all our questions were answered. The surgeons, nurses, cleaners, you name it - a truly fantastic team to whom we will be eternally thankful.

Amazing care from all! Dr. Brain, Mr.George, Professor Travis, nursing staff gave us exceptional care.Very thorough and professional. Five days stay at the Churchill and three weeks later a new lease of life. THANK YOU!

I would just like to say how wonderful the casualty dep. was especially sal who was brilliant when I had broken my ankle on Monday. Can't fault it, thank you

They saved my life and continue to look after me really well. No complaints from me. Big shout out Nutrition, Gastroenterology & AAU!

I gave blood here a few times, and the process was very smooth, much better than other places.

The male nurse Salim/Saleem (not sure of the exact spelling of his name) in the Accident and Emergency Injury department was extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful to the last T. He left no stone unturned in trying to humiliate me as a patient and completely bullied me the entire way. This guy needs to be out of his job. Nobody deserved to be yelled at and lectured during their visit especially whilst they are in agonisingly pain!!! Please learn some respect. Also A and E receptionists are extremely ignorant and I waited 8 hours just to be seen. Would not ever recommend the appalling service to anyone. If JR don't address these issues quickly, then that's a fault on them. I agree that the NHS does not have sufficient funding, however sufficient funding isn't required to teach staff to have and maintain a basic level of respect and human decency! Salim you can have you meniscus and shove ut up yourself. And by the way, please deflate your big head. Thanks a lot for bullying me...

I was born in the John Radcliffe Hospital in the year 2000 and so far my life has been pretty good.

I was well looked after in the cardiothoracic department , after suffering a surgery this week. The whole team that looked after me during my hospital stay was incredible. Very calm and reassuring, always happy to help me and to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I am very grateful and I think all these people that are working there are truly heroes 🌈♥️
