Unfortunately the cafe did not meet our expectations. It’s bright and clean but the food choice is poor. There’s an abundance of cakes but not much else. We ordered jacket potato with tuna mayo and paid extra £1:50 for beans. The tuna portion was literally one heaped teaspoon size! The potato was bland and I would usually expect butter to be included. The beans were also tasteless (possibly low cal/low sugar/cheap). The salad was nice enough but had too much raw spinach on it. The coffee was nice and the layout is pleasant.

Bias towards none white people! Not 30 seconds after I entered the shop, the shop detective ( or what this woman was supposed to be) ran after me. Yes, it was amazing with what speed she arrived suddenly right behind me. It was so obvious that she fallowed me. I walked around a bit to test her and when it was clear I turned around and I asked her if she is fallowing me. She laughed a fake and unfriendly laugh and said : 'No. Aha ha ha...' I said : ' Yes you are following me because I am black'. She just laughed obviously confused that I realized what she was doing and that I confronted her with her obvious bias. She must have been very bored in her live to run like this after innocent people and make them feel uncomfortable for daring to enter a shop, just because of their skin tone. I will never shop at John Lewis again.

I love John Lewis. This store is smaller than the usual JL stores with a smaller range. When I visited a week ago I needed help with men's accessories. Not a member of staff to be found. I had to search the ground floor for one. Very helpful when found.

Only store worth visiting in the Victoria Gate shopping centre (no disrespect to the other stores). Large store spread over 5 floors, with convenient escalators linking them. Quality goods displayed/organised nicely. You have the freedom to shop without nagging sales people.

My mother and I went Christmas shopping to Leeds today. The last time we were able to do that was in 2019. We were delighted to find that John Lewis had all the lovely gifts that they had had in 2019. The assistant at the till was great. An added bonus was that there was a chair that my mother could use. All in all, it was a great shopping experience.

Called in for coffee and catch up with friend. Plenty of space between tables. Nice and clean. My only down side to Jogn Lewis is not clearly marked for exits. In case of an emergency it would be confusing of where to leave. Clear signage for departments. But not showing exits. 😕

A beautiful building! I can spend hours here browsing through the various departments here. The architecture of the building is one thing, but the vast amount of sections to browse (especially tech) is literally heaven to me 😂 It’s all neatly laid out and very welcoming and astheticly pleasing. Definitely worth a visit. 😁
