Bought a Honda Civic type R GT 2008 from John 2 weeks ago, he let me test drive the car alone which I did and everything seemed ok mechanically. However when I got home I tried to fold the electric mirrors and one did not work, the driver door speaker was not working which I found on the way home to Inverness and the plastic of the handle fell off with the silicone still wet. I emailed him he called straight back and agreed to send the mirror part required to fix the motor and replacement used speaker which now works! With being so far it was either go to him or he send the parts which I was happy with. Shame about the plastic cover on the door handle which he admitted came off during machine polishing. I glued that back on myself and now all little issues sorted. There is a current noise with the clutch release bearing only when cold which Honda have said it fine to leave just now but may fail in near future, also rust on inside of passenger door which hopefully covered under 12 year Honda warranty. I would have given 5 stars as these issues are easily sorted before purchasing but reduced to 3. Would I buy again?? Possibly but partly my own fault for not checking everything thourogly. He did however put brand new MOT and service on the car for me so will leave 4 deserved stars. Be sure to check everything when buying he did not pressure me into anything I was just keen. He was honest but if he took more notice in the smaller things as well could easily be 5 stars. As it stands though very very happy with the car drives superb and I will have it the way it should be, it does require some loving, the body work was somewhat neglected by the previous owner and the tyres on this car are rubbish for a Type R.

Purchased a Volvo XC70, car was well presented, spent over 3 hours on a Saturday driving a number of cars, John was very helpful not pushy nothing too much trouble, Purchased the car that day, they said they would sort out the odd bit on the bodywork, what an amazing paint job, so happy, Gave me a 6 month guarantee, needed to have the car back but once again things were sorted, John was polite and overall really pleased for a second hand car i could not expect more, thank you, would be happy to buy another car from him

Amazing customer service, got a great deal on buying a BMW and even managed to get some money off by trading in my old car. Very helpful, knew what he was talking about and made the process simple. will be recommending to friend who is currently looking for upgrade! 6 out of 5 stars!!

Very pleasant experience had here recently.

John is very knowledgable, has a wide range of cars and each of them were immaculate. I scoured the internet for long enough and couldn’t find a similar car with the same level of cleanliness and or low miles as John’s V70, the car Itsself was turned around quickly and presented beautifully.

We have all heard of del boy trotter haven't we? Well this guy is the new age del boy , bought a car from him that can only be described as a bigger letdown than a chocolate teapot. Everything he described sounded wonderful until I signed on the dotted line, driving home I could feel the car wasn't rite, when I phoned John he said it was my problem and my responsibility. As you can imagine I was utterly disgusted when I questioned him about the warranty he said he would provide he said he wasn't providing one anymore yet I have it in the paperwork. I asked the AA to come out to assess the car since John was at this point ignoring my calls and messages and they found that the car was not fit to be on the road, alternator was on its last legs , there was splits on the frame of the car which was increasingly getting worse and he found that the inlet manifold had a slight crack. I submit this review to warn people to get on your knees and fully check every angle of a car you may buy from this crook as like previously stated he is the common day del boy. Keep yourselves rite and take my advice walk past this crooks forecourt as is only use is a for a scrap yard dealership.

Fantastic service during these covid times John was absolutely brilliant.. very knowledgeable about a certain car I was after and gave me sound advice on what model to go for .. made up with my new Mercedes.. drove down from Liverpool to part ex my car and given a good price Thanks John for everything you done five star service and would definitely return in the future
