Hard to find a clean table. Meals slow to come out. Asked for garlic bread to comes out first, came out with meal. When I complained that our meal would get cold if we ate the garlic bread, there was zero care factor. As it was, our meal was near cold and we ate that first. Garlic bread was horrible cold. No value for money

Firstly, and most importantly the views are excellent. Looking over the lake is great, but eating outside is the only to really take advantage. The food was adequate, it was a busy (trivia) night and dishes took 45-60 minutes to arrive. Chips and salads were good. The fetta spinach filo was good, the calamari however was slightly overcooked. Would recommend for a large gathering for those who love a standard league feed and calm waters.

The food is decent value for the price but the view is what truly brings this up to 4 stars. Definitely sit outside in the afternoon & enjoy the view

Great spot for a feed and drink. You won't get a nicer view, Yachts, Pelicans and Lake MacQuarie.

Lovely spot for lunch...bowls were on and the view of the yachts majestic. Food was awesome and huge so much so we bought enough home for dinner. Service was swift even tho there was two large birthday bookings all done with a smile and pleasantries. A great day out.

In Roman times, Newcastle – then called Pons Aelius – was a fort on Hadrian’s Wall, and during the Saxon period, it was known as Monk Chester on account of its many religious houses. The city owes its present name to William the Conqueror who, like Hadrian before him, recognized its strategic importance.
