Absolutely loved it!!!! The food and the staff were both amazing. Also it was so well priced. We ordered there too red (£19.50) and it went down a treat. I would highly Jamals and looking forward to going back.

My wife and I both tried recommended dishes: the handy king prawns and Jamal's Indian hotpot. Neither was much better than average, lacking the depth of flavour you'd expect from a curry house. The portions weren't generous, either. Given the price, not really worth it. There are other much better curry houses nearby.

This is the worst place to come if you're in a large group of 10-15. The least accommodating restaurant I have ever been to. We went for the set menu as it was supposed to be simpler. Paid £15 each and their were no starters, no drinks, no dessert, which is a pathetic excuse for a set menu. On top of that the manager brought over a container to put the cash in as soon as we sat down, as if we were going to run away without paying. When the food did come out we had to ration it out as it was a small quantity, leaving a restaurant hungry doesn't make sense? When we did ask for more food they refused. For £15 I usually leave a curry house stuffed with a smile on my face. On top of that the waiter we had was extremely rude and condescending. If you want to have a good time with people do not bring them here as you will be embarrassed that you chose this place.

Service was exceptionally good! They were able to allocate a table for us without a booking in advance. The food was good, big portions and reasonably priced. All in all we had a good experience!

It's a good curry house, very popular with students in the area. Be warned that student groups can make the place rowdy after about 9pm!. Portions are generous and the place is very well-kept.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Great banter. Great curry. We were warmly welcomed. Also VERY good value for money. The tandoori mixed grill gave two members of our party "the best meat I've had in years' This place tickles my lime pickle.

Work do, we had starters which were incomplete and tiny and varying curries. I Had chicken madras, tasteless and with less spice than a tesco meal deal BLT. However the staff were spot on, they were very polite, approachable and managed such a large group superbly. ( upon group reflection, I've decided to go back down to 1 star because multiple people had incorrect and incomplete orders.
