I ordered Birthday cake from them, I picked my cake on time it looked nice when we cut it was hard and stale. I went next morning to return they took it back and said will refund, but I never received a refund when I went after some time they refused to pay and said I should have checked my account for refund and didn't want to speak. I paid more than £30.00 the took my cake back and no refund, horrible service and I should have reported them.

Went for a change. Nice bread. Coffee ok. Luke warm sausage. Expensive mushrooms. Generally expensive....£7 for barm and hot drink, which can be purchased elsewhere for £5. Staff ok, however seemed slightly disinterested and put out by order.

The most unfriendly cafe I've ever been in. Out for lunch with my grandson tried to enter the shop via two large steps with buggy was shouted at by both assistants to turn the buggy around... No assistance offered a wonderful passerby helped me into the shop. I wish I hadn't bothered the designated child eating area was filthy stained chairs toys passed their sell by date but as my grandson had been in his buggy I let him have a play. I ordered soup and asked if I wanted bread assistant pulled a face when I changed my mind. The cafe was empty but I was asked to move my buggy so 'everyone' could access the toilet!! I am not one who would let a child wander or be a nuisance to other customers but my grandson had been in his buggy all morning on a very wet morning so I did let him stretch his legs and follow him around once or twice this caused disapproving stares from both assistants. Just to point out you are supposed to be providing a service... You are working with the public.... You are supposed to be catering for children... I will not return. I will not recommend. I would not rate. From a grandma recovering from cancer who would have appreciated a smile and help with the buggy and a little friendly boy who would have loved a smile.
