When you enter a small shoe shop and you are the only customers and the assistants (the older one maybe the owner) would rather stay kneeling down perfecting his display of shoes rather than ask if you need help is so unprofessional. Couldn’t help or advise regarding wide fitting shoes. He was rather dismissive and carried on his conversation with his younger colleague about what an excellent display they had done!!! Won’t EVER enter this shop again. Much better service at Soleution

Great shop, great choice, great service....what more to say. I lived in Clifton some years ago and found this fantastic shop, normally I hate shopping for clothes or shoes, as many men do I believe, but this shop gave me all the choice and made the whole experience super. I now live in Devon but still travel up to see friends and use this trip to buy new shoes as well. Was great to see you yesterday, Stephen.

This store has an amazing range of ladies and men’s shoes. Styles that you just don’t see in your large chain shops. Grant was the young man I dealt with and he was extremely helpful without being pushy. He understood what I was looking for and made useful suggestions. I left Instep with a beautiful pair of shoes which Grant also treated with suede protector for me. I help to manage a retail store and it’s hard to judge whether customers want your undivided attention or if you should leave them for a while; Grant has it just right. I will definitely be returning soon.

As soon as we entered we were chased doggedly by the two salesman who wanted a quick purchase and quick exit. They wouldn't let us browse. This was an hour before closing. Not a great experience. Bit of a shame. Probably won't come back to be honest.
