I had the pleasure of meeting Freya, Sharon and Angela. They're all so passionate about what they do, plus they take the time to listen to what your end goal is. They're all brilliant and I highly recommend them because they're really friendly and take the time to listen. They communicate well with one another and also when there are issues with their staffing they're immensely professional. I remember my original appointment was cancelled as many of their staff were unfortunately sick. Sharon rang me and was so polite and booked me in again for another date very soon after. I changed my mind on what I wanted too, and both Sharon and Angela were so understanding, they happily were really accommodating. I think that all they want to do is give a really positive experience to their clients. Angela did an amazing job with my Full Head Tint and Cut. She took the time to explain everything in detail and you can tell she sincerely adores her job. I love the haircut! Thank you for the really pleasant experience. Best hairdressers in Edinburgh in my opinion!

I was SO impressed by the superb service in this salon today. The hair colour and cut done by Sharon were both amazing! I must also comment on the cleanliness of the salon! Everything was scrupulously clean, from the hair brushes to the loo! I'd go back there anytime! Well done to The Indigo Girls!

Amazing hair cut today, couldn't be happier with my new short hair.

Had 15 minute consultation for a Balayage & we set a date for 3 weeks later. I came for my appointment to be told that that the girl who was meant to be doing my hair was off sick. That can't be helped, but then I was told my hair was darker than the 3 weeks previous. The 3 inches of grey from lockdown said differently. Then they said I had more weft in than before. Completely untrue, my hair was exactly the same as the consultation 3 weeks previously. Then was told they wouldn't do the balayage, but instead offered to do my roots & cut it...(finally recognising that yes, indeed, my hair was the same as before). Of course at this stage I declined & felt really unimpressed with the whole experince. I would have prefered they cancelled my appointment, instead of leaving me waiting for 3 weeks.

Absolutely fantastic hairdressers. Had my hair coloured by Claire and Angela, who did an amazing job - never had a colour look this good! I had some very grown out roots and a band in my hair from the previous salon I went to, and they sorted this out for me. Not only this but Claire went out and bought a brand new hair dye just so she could get the colour on the picture I showed her. They got the job done very quickly and were lovely to chat to. Had advice on how to maintain the colour and they recommended dyes to use if I wanted to top up in the meantime. All for a very reasonable price as well. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Love my highlights by Sharon and Claire. Such friendly and welcoming staff. I really enjoyed every minute and fantastic results. Would definitely recommend.

Went with high expectations considering reviews. Was kept waiting 30mins, my coat was hung up by its hood, trailing the floor. I could have excused this IF my cut was OK, it was just as it was when I sat in the chair. Really didn't see any change. Couldn't take in the result!!! I explained what was required, clearly was not received. Hate doing this, but I am so fed up with people who say they are hairdressers!!!

Sharon is in a field of her own. She is simply the best. Her staff are just the same professional and curtius is the order of the day. There is no other salon in Edinburgh on the same level.
