This pool is ideal for me.... Like a lot of people my age I swim to keep fit rather than leisure these days.... I don't do the classes but I have seen them and they look fun and well used.... The problem is that it's a small community pool with only 4 showers but I do my lengths and get out when I can see one is free.... Not enough changing space also but again I try to go when it's not busy and I've never had a problem... The staff are friendly enough but very casual and not always helpful... (not rude) For instance I asked for a timetable once and there were none printed and so I was advised to photograph theirs and use that..... I expect as a member to be given a timetable if I ask... But that's not to say they were rude it's just that some have a can't be bothered attitude.... If you want a fancy pool then this is not for you.. But if you want to just go for a swim and nothing more then it is great.. Early morning lanes are available which are well used.... They did have a timetable which I could access on my phone which told you if pool was open for general swimming but that seems to have gone.... It was very handy as the pool is not always open as they private hire and have school swimming too so the app was good for me as I tend to drop in on my way back from work.... I do think it's a bit overpriced for what you get when you consider the Triangle in Burgess Hill is a similar price for excellent lane swimming plus fun pools and slides.... But i manage to get my moneys worth on my membership....

Decor is dated, same as twenty years ago. Now usually I'd be upset about that but it makes me feel younger just going there, like I'm in a time warp. Staff are ok, pool seems dirtier when it's busy but I guess that's normal. Free parking is a plus.

My daughter has Swimming lessons here and it's absolutely awful. The teachers are 10 minutes late near enough every week and don't keep the children in to make up for time lost, the teacher also had over the amount of children they are suppose to teach so all the children were on top of each other in the pool, whilst he stands there chatting to his mate. Not to mention one of the teachers let my child nearly drown and nothing was done about it, no apology nothing. Avoid at all cost
