Jean-Paul Kasusula was instrumental in helping me successfully apply for a spouse visa. At a very crucial juncture in the life of my husband and me (expecting a baby), his warm and wise counsel and practical, knowledgeable support helped carry us through a precarious time, to the freedom of stable immigration status here in Scotland where we've built our family life. Apart from a stress of a miscommunication while his case was transferred to another lawyer during his PTO, we were pleased and thankful for the quality and care he gave us as clients. Thanks again Jean-Paul from all three of us.

Like many others, we thought "How hard can this be?". Little did we know! Do yourselves the favour of avoiding 6 months of pain fighting a ridiculous system on your own & engage IAS now. They're courteous, prompt, thorough & helpful. They guided us through this painful process to a successful outcome. Our contact was David Gering-Hasthorpe, and I'll absolutely recommend him to anyone who asks.

I am so grateful to David’s help. The flat fee covered multiple emails, questions, and all his answers to my questions. He walked me through the whole process. My application should have been simple, but I had invested cash savings, so didn’t quite fit the rules. David helped sort all of that out, and with his advice, I was able to submit documents which with his covering letter helped me through the process. I would highly recommend using IAS, and especially the help of David from Glasgow.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. An initial meeting with Houri, after I paid the £1050 fee I was passed to someone else I’d never met. Then never advised that she had left the company and I was never assigned a new lawyer. Slow to reply initially, then never reply to emails or calls. I still have a fee paid to them and an open application and can’t get a reply to email or calls. Have reported the company for fraud as I can’t even get a reply from a lawyer from this company. Will be contacting the law society and trading standards to make an official complaint against them. Avoid at all costs. Do not give these people your money.

Terrible & I would NEVER EVER recommend. If they appoint you “Kirsty” please ask for a new individual to speak with. Very unprofessional in many senses, was late submitting my application, was told I would know within 3 months and eventually had to withdraw my application because it was closer to 10 months. These are just a few of the issues my family & I experienced. When it came time to withdraw they “couldn’t locate my passport” I was told by the firm. I had to call and get it done myself, which the UK govt was helpful & expedited it to me and my passport was on my front step in 3 business days. To my own ignorance, I should’ve seen the early signs. I met with Houri and everything was good but as soon as I paid my deposit and fees, I was shoved to this 3rd class, I’m not sure what Kristy’s title is, but was an absolute nightmare. My first meeting with Kirsty, she was 15 min late which was fine I do understand things can overlap and times can be thrown off. But when it was our families turn and the top of the hour was approaching I was told “you only paid for one hour” and abruptly ended our meeting. If it were possible, I would give a negative star as they are not deserving of any star. If you are an American trying to move to the UK, I would strongly suggest do not entertain this circus, especially if you are a younger couple. The level of seriousness you will be given will be minimal. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions but I 100% stand by my statement. -KYLE BUSH
