A gem! Lovely old buildings, beautiful views. It felt COVID-19 safe, while the cafe remained open for takeaways and with very few other visitors we virtually had the place to ourselves. Thank you for keeping this place open!

Free parking for national Trust members, park and house are great, no inside tours as it is a youth hostel, there's an on site cafe, toilets and grounds to walk round. The walks from here around dove Dale are fantastic, we walked for miles.

Lovely park to walk round at this National Trust location. I feel its a shame that Ilam Hall is rented to the YHA so its not open to the public. Ilam is a quaint little village.
