5 stars isn't enough. I have been looking for a good stylist in Oxford for a while now and have finally found one. I went into Idlewild a few weeks back looking for a recommendation and was greeted by a friendly confident Michael. I knew right away I had found my new stylist. When I came back for my appointment I was a little nervous but was reassured as soon as I sat down. I decided to go for a short funky cut and showed Michael a few examples of what I was looking for and he made his recommendations. I was so impressed with his level of detail and professional ease. The cut turned out exactly how i wanted it, actually even better. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael if you want to try out a new look or even a trim. I will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic salon, friendly staff and a professional service every time. I drive all the way from Essex simply to have Amy cut and colour my hair here. Amazing cut and colour using quality products, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend this salon.

I went today for a haircut with Rochelle. I really couldn't be happier with the results! She was very attentive, professional and kind, and checked at all moments that I was happy with every step. The haircut looks astonishing, and it is really well done for my hair, which is on the thicker side. She also retouched my undercut and curtain bangs, and everything looks perfect now!

My hair (curly, mid-length) was cut this morning by Michael who did a wonderful job - he was both professional and attentive, and helped me to find the shape and length that worked best for me. I'm very happy with the result!

He is a true expert at cutting hair and you will always leave with an amazing haircut! 👍 The Salon has a very chilled and relaxing environment and all the staff are so friendly... Rochelle did a fantastic job! She was super patient, helpful and nice and helped me in measuring my hair before cutting it off for donation. She gave me a really nice haircut, just like I described it to her and I am very happy and pleased with the haircut. It was quick, pleasant and efficient.

Normally go to abingdon shop but were booked so tried this central idlewild. Just as good, hair cut, service and professionalism really good. Good value too
