Ideal Windows and Conservatories edinburgh

It is over a year since we first went to Ideal but they have stayed with us the whole time. It took building regs 364 days to grant permission but after that the conservatory went up within a month. All the workmen employed were excellent, both in quality of work and personality. They were very careful of both our grounds and access for neighbours. From our first visit to the showroom, through site visits, to contact with the architect they have never failed to impress. The quality of the glass and framework was probably the most important factor for us and that has proved true now that the whole project is finished. We can certainly recommend Ideal.

Your salesman Mike listened to our wishes and advised us very well, and then came back to us quickly with a very favourable quote compared to some of the other companies consulted. All of the workmen were punctual, polite, hard working and efficient, and everyone tidied up well at the end of each day. Special thanks must go to Iain and Gus for all their efforts in putting it all together, and to Callum for his hard work with the cabling and electrics. Everyone was friendly and very approachable before and during the build, the quality of the materials used is first class, and we are delighted with this lovely completed addition to our home. What a great company. Completely different to most window firms. No pushy salesmen sitting in your house for hours trying to get you to sign on the day. We had six windows and a door fitted and the whole process was made as stress free as possible. A big Thank you to Stuart in sales for his guidance and friendly approach. Also many thanks to the fitters Alan and Kevin who were just great and managed to keep the disruption down. Had a very positive experience with Ideal for replacement of all windows and doors. The original sales appointment reviewed all the windows and preferences and we were subsequently emaiedn a quote, and then no further hassle as we waited for 3 months to get back to it. The fitting took a week (was a big job) and the two fitters were efficient, and polite and took great efforts to get the right finish. The only issue we had was a unit cracked during fitting. This was ordered and replaced with no hassle. Would happily recommend to others.

Highly professional customer service and installation from start to finish. From our initial visit to the showroom, through to the product selection, measurement and installation we received first class service and could not be more delighted with the new windows and patio door in our home. The whole team are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and committed to giving the best end result. Iain and Jock carried out quality workmanship and careful attention to detail during installation, keeping us informed as work progressed. Absolutely delighted with our new conservatory - it's brilliant to have an additional social space for our family and the kids and dogs all approve! Ideal recently completed a conservatory for me. It's full floor to ceiling glass with double doors and a hip back roof. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with this company from start to finish. They answered all our questions throughout the process, kept us well informed and were professional and respectful from start to finish. It is a long standing family company and I felt we got a very fair price and they were not pushy in the slightest. All the tradespeople we dealt with were friendly, hard workers that knew what they were doing and just got on with the job. They tidied up after themselves throughout. They were all attentive to detail and made sure I was happy with the work at each stage. The finished conservatory is even better than I could have imagined and worth every penny. I was very cautious as you hear a lot of horror stories, but I have to stay I put my trust in Ideal and they have not let me down. Not just a professional reliable company but they employ hardworking, respectful and genuinely nice people who have done an amazing job. I am using my new space all the time and loving it. I would have no hesitation recommending Ideal based on my experience.

Our experience from start to finish has been brilliant. From being in the showroom, getting quote and survey to final installation everything has been brilliant. Stewart was great on both visits as were Gus and Andy. We are delighted with our new front door and patio door. Thank you all.

Had front door done in July and great job done. Ordered back door and had this fitted today and first class job done. Thanks go to all involved( Stuart, Brian and the fitters Andy and Gus).
