Really handy store for all kinds of frozen food. They have a very good selection in this store and their selection is not just confined to frozen foods, they stock a good range of general "supermarket" items. The service is usually very good in this store and one doesn't have to wait very long to clear through the check-outs.

Google Maps review policy seems to be a lot more basic than their search algorithms are. For the record I do not and will not submit reviews under the following circumstances: 1. If I have already provided a review unless there has been a substantial passage of time since the previous review or a change that warrants an update; 2. If my visit occurred over 1 month ago; 3. If I only passed by a place and didn't actually visit; 4. If I only obtained directions to a place using google maps but have not actually visited the destination. After all what is the value in a fictitious review and lets face it Google tracks our location more efficiently than MI5 or GCHQ and should therefore know that I haven't visited the destination in question; 5. If the place in question is a chain or franchise operation that can be found in more or less the same form in many locations in the UK or indeed the world. There is little point in providing lots of detail about something people can find anywhere on their High Street; and 6. If the place is my place of work or a commercial premises that I have visited in the course of my work. Iceland Foods falls into categories 1 and 5 and as such does not benefit from a review or my time in preparing one, this standard text is provided simply to dismiss Googles repeated requests for me to submit a review.

Huge variety of frozen goods available at very competitive prices. It's a no frills operation but that doesn't mean the staff are any less helpful than at other stores. And they have things I don't see at other supermarkets, for example Gino D'Acampo's excellent pasta based dishes. Well worth a visit to stock up your freezer.

Nearly always a good experience there. Very clean and well kept store. Would have given it 5 stars but they do tend to let kids run around and use it as a playground sometimes. Not customer's kids either, just kids off the street. Maybe a security guard might help?
