In late autumn I asked for a flu jab because I have a heart condition and I’m aware that people with serious long-term medical issues are eligible and I tend to catch illness very easily. I knew I was eligible because I was given one last year. This year they didn't give me one and said "I'm sorry but your condition is not serious enough" which I found rather patronising even though it was 'serious enough' last year. I'm a student in my third year taking time off university because I very ill with the flu because my heart condition makes my symptoms of fatigue and tiredness far worse. I'm aware that vaccines are not fool proof but because of this surgery’s negligence I am forced take time off my last year of university and I’m just very disappointment because this could have been avoided.
Excellent service from excellent staff
This is my local gps and i must say that the never ever fail to impress both with they re professionalism and they re concern both forth well being of they re patients(regardless of race creed colour orientation or professional status)and the efficienct delivery of a human service..i can honestly say that all the doctors and staff (nursing and front of house)are the best at providing the best service i have ever recieved.all the doctors are lifesavers and have filled me with confidence.A CREDIT TO BOTH THE IDEAL OF THE N.H.S.AND THE PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF THAT IDEAL.100 OUT OF 100.
Great service, very helpful & friendly reception staff and respectful doctors. Never had any issues with them. Needed emergency appointment and even though it was super busy (phone line was non-stop busy) and impossible to get one for couple of days, they did manage to fit me in ASAP, which I was very grateful for. My bf will probably switch to this surgery too as he is not happy with his current GP in Light.
A fantastic surgery, full of living super hero's! Thank you to all the professionals there. Special mention for Dr Aslam, Dr Watson and Dr Hannah Dr Aslam, a truly caring professional. A personal thank you from the Patel family.
Really pleased with my experience at this surgery so far. The doctors and staff have been nice, patient, and understanding, and it’s easy to get an appointment.
After making a long awaited double appointment about my hearing and Potential dyspraxia, I was with the doctor for less than 5 minutes when I was referred to audiology in meanwood and said they would handle both dyspraxia and hearing. I had also given them my hearing chart to pass along. I never received the letter about the referral and then when calling up after a few weeks they said I should have gotten one and I could have made the appointment ages ago. After calling to book this it was a months wait for the appointment. In the appointment the doctor said they had not sent any hearing chart, made hardly any notes about my case, they don’t handle dyspraxia and they don’t know why the doctor sent me to them as it’s EMT I should be sent to who do different scans. It will be another few months wait for this appointment so I am enraged. I am so let down by the service and the hearing and possible dyspraxia is largely affecting my mental health. I was also told by the hearing doctor that my recent ear infection sounded abnormal and what the doctor from Hyde park surgery told me was wrong and just to get me off the phone basically, disgrace.
All staff members are good and cooperative. One member should be known Language punjabi.
I am on the whole extremely happy with this surgery. However since the pandemic started there have been staff that have no empathy or understanding of there patients needs. I can't wear a mask and explained this, there response was rude and uncaring! I was recently invited to make my 2 year old an appointment for her nasal flu jab. I respectfully said no thank you and the attitude I had was rude. Was like I was being reprimanded for making a choice on something that is not mandatory. And I don't have the full facts for. Like I said I love this surgery just a few spoiling it at the moment.
