This was my first purchase of a property and so for me, picking a competent solicitor like Humphreys was crucial to me. Despite them being based in Bristol, they had no issues in dealing with the me and the vendor both being based in London. The process in all was completed as quick as was possible, with no unnecessary delays. My solicitor responded to my numerous questions and updates quite promptly and all in all the entire process was smoother than I anticipated. The price was very competitive and for the level of service you get, it was great value. And a special thanks to Courtney who was my solicitor and really did a great job.

I called for a quote and gave my details and a member of staff then emailed asking for further information. Instead of emailing back, I wanted to call to give the information as I didn't have time to type out my responses on my mobile phone. I was advised they couldn't take my responses over the phone and needed this on email (we're talking basic information here like purchase price, freehold/leasehold etc, as I have given to two other solicitors already today quite easily). When I said I couldn't email back and wanted to give this information on the phone, the person I dealt with refused: classic "computer said no" moment. Clearly not a customer-centric business and I wonder how this works with people that are blind/do not have a computer or are illiterate....

Used them to buy my house after everyone in my office recommended them. They were professional and thorough at their job. The other sides got a bit annoyed, finding them slow, but that appeared to be because Humphreys were being thorough. No issues, well priced and came recommended to use by at least 4 other people.

No idea why some other reviews have been so negative. Our experience as first time buyers with Humphreys & Co in Bristol over Summer 2018 was great - transparent pricing and process, efficient and professional service and plenty of patience and communication along the way. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again in future.

I've used Humphreys & Co. Solicitors three times now for conveyancing (purchase - sale - purchase) and they have been great each time. Courtney Stone, in particular, has been outstanding. Courtney's level of communication, eye for detail and professionalism has been flawless; a credit to the team. A handful of friends and family have reported horror stories with other solicitor firms over the years but neither myself or partner would hesitate in recommending Humphreys & Co.'s services.

This firm is spot on. In particular I want to thank Tristan. They helped us on a few occasion with trademark issues and we could not have been happier. It seems that they worked out a system that helps their clients achieve success. I know my field fairly well and I know a few things that make my business successful and I think it is the same for this firm. They know exactly what helps their clients. I will hire the firm in the future.

Natasha at Humphrey's & Co managed my shared ownership purchase and was absolutely amazing. She was efficient, thorough, quick to respond, and went above and beyond to get the purchase through after issues on the other side resulted in several months of delays. I was told so many horror stories about conveyancing solicitors but in this case these were thankfully completely unfounded, and I was so relieved to have someone so on the ball in my corner once things got complicated. Natasha chased in a timely manner, kept me in the loop, answered all my questions patiently, and generally made the other solicitor involved look utterly incompetent (which they were!). The service was always outstanding, extremely good value and I will definitely be coming back to Humphrey's when I next move - which hopefully won't be for a long time yet. Thank you so much Natasha for all your work! : )

I've used Humphreys & Co for the purchase of two homes, sale of one and a house lease extension in West London. Each time they have been highly professional, responsive and provided prompt answers to numerous questions. I've also experienced them being much more legally informed and correct than other solicitors being used in a house sale chain, which was quite impressive. I was also struct by how reasonable their fees were. Joshua at Humphreys was excellent at our last sale. I would use them again in the future and would have no concerns in recommending them to others. Highly recommended.
