After more than 20 minutes waiting on the phone with no answer (why don't they employ some more people to answer the phones?) I decided to visit the branch in person to try to help my son sort out a problem but the branch staff could not have been more unhelpful if they tried. I am well aware that they were unable to give me details of my son's account but they were unwilling to listen to what my question was or to offer any help or advice. Thanks a lot HSBC! I will now be reviewing the 6 accounts that my family has with your organisation and see if there is any other bank that actually provides a service.
