Staff were really helpful and patient with me. As a student who didn't know much about banking, they were great. Wait times are a little long but the staff are wonderful.

Horrendous, the slowest HSBC bank I have ever used! 25 mins to get served..and then one of the two counter staff wanders off and doesn't come back, despite a queue of 15/20 people! Doesn't matter when I go there but always so slow...

I have never made any review on Google but for this one I had to. Horrible service. Went there to open a current account and after 3 weeks and a lot of requests to prove my identity (after submitting my employee letter, my landlord letter, and even my national insurance letter) they kept on asking for changes on the letters. These changes were only asked after I went through the trouble of asking different people exactly what they asked me to do. There was always something else they needed. In the end I decided not to go for this bank as there are many more with a better client service and don't take half the time. It is a lack of respect for a person's time to go forward and backward with the requests, asking to change the name or the request, etc. Very disappointed.
