They got the kitchen dimensions wrong, forgot basics like a waste bin, didn't bother to explain the product range, took weeks to answer messages, delivered wrong hardware, and had to provide a different cabinet door so that the oven door could be opened. Their business model is lots of too small depots which are understaffed and under skilled, and their customer is your builder, not you. I was very lucky to have a good builder who helped sort things out. However, the actual hardware seems good and reasonably priced. But...

I rang Howdens Prestonfield to make a kitchen design appointment. I was told to email the depot and they would get back to me. So I emailed straightaway. I hadn't heard anything a week later so I rang the depot again. I was told they have been busy. They took down my details and said they would get back to me. After a further week I still hadn't heard anything so I rang again. They took my details again and said they would look into it straight away. After another week, three weeks after my original email, I've still not been contacted to arrange a kitchen design appointment.
