Howdens – Brighton brighton

I couldn’t recommend this branch of Howdens enough - truly excellent customer service! Louise did a wonderful job designing our new kitchen. Her attention-to-detail and skill for attractive, practical kitchen design is impressive. Everything was delivered promptly and correct. During installation, we decided to replace one drawer unit with an alternative version - this was no problem for Howdens. Louise made some suggestions and a new replacement was delivered to us just hours later - now that’s what I call impressive! Thanks Louise and all the team at Portslade Howdens. We love our new kitchen!

Avoid like the plague, the staff members continually lie and are rude on the telephone. You can never be put through to the designer. Rude on the telephone, clearly not customer service trained. They say they can price match, this is a load of rubbish, as they were 1k more expensive, they do this to get you in. Kitchens are just standard, nothing special. Kitchen fitters said they buy the cabinets from Ikea, not sure how true that is. When you try and speak to them on the telephone, they decide just to disconnect the call. Awful company, full of lies and dishonest, I wouldn’t let them anywhere near my kitchen.

Not a trustworthy company. The salesman measured everything up wrong. The kitchen had to be completely redesigned. Bought bamboo floors too for the whole house. But this was measured up wrong too and the sales guy lied saying the conservatory wasn't included. He then gave a reason as to why it wasn't included based on a decision I had made after he quoted for the whole house. Disgusting bevaviour! The salesman didn't even have the decency to call me to explain, his boss called instead. I was rather annoyed and asked him to call me back in 15 minutes. I have now been waiting over an hour and a half, the office is closed now.

This is a good shop. Excellent customer service. It is trade only though, although if you want a brochure they will give you one to look at. Your budget will have an account, or can open one if they do not already have one.
