A good base for visiting. No frills but clean comfortable accommodation at excellent pricing for a city destination. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall a worthwhile experience and would go back.

Great value for money, the location is pretty great and the parking space available is good as well. Loved the bunk bed for the 3 person bedroom. The one concern would be the lack of privacy in the 3 person room with the hole in the bathroom door.

Staff were nice and polite and for a £36 stay I can’t fault it really, did the job. Beds are a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom set up is a bit strange. And I’m pretty sure the shower water is chlorinated? Smelt that way anyway.. can’t complain though it was cheap and very close to the tram station so easy travel links

4/ 5

The Ibis budget hotel is a really pleasant yet basic place to stay. The staff at the reception desk are helpful and lovely. The place has a "young" feel to it and looks trendy in the reception area. The room is basic but comfortable with a nice hot shower cubicle and small TV with plenty of channels. The lighting is nice with low wall strip lights as well as bed and wall lights too making it nice and ambient. Overall a good place to stay on a weekend break, close to the Mediacentre and only a short tram ride into the centre of Manchester and the Manchester Arena.

We arrived at this hotel very late at night after been turned away from a different hotel that we reserved due to them not been able to take cash. We had no reservation here but the staff accommodated us immediately and the room was perfect! I would definitely recommend and I will be booking in here again soon but at a more reasonable hour :) Thank you to that brilliant member of staff for saving our night!

I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff have been as helpful as they were here. Service is available 24/7 and the staff go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay. They also offer a taxi service straight to the hotel. The staff at the reception were amazing.

Its a budget hotel, the name is on the tin, we laughed about the bunk bed over the top of our double, the room was basic with no tea making facilities. But the receptionist was excellent and made us feel welcome, and the young lady at breakfast was very attentive. The room was very warm and the bed comfortable.

Staff go above and beyond. Accommodating, friendly and helpful. 24/7 snack bar with dining room if you're hungry and don't feel like going out. Very well sanitized. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Will definitely be staying here again upon my next visit to manchester.

If I could rate it a zero I would! We had 4 rooms booked here and on arrival the front desk was fine in greeting us. Just before 7 a staff member came upstairs and asked us to pay whenever we’re ready which we were fine with. Unfortunately there was later confusion with payment and a different member of staff came upstairs (I believe his name was Diogo), demanding we paid now or he would phone the police. He asked us to turn off the music which we did and to close our hotel rooms that were propped open with suitcases. We were in the middle of getting ready but said to him calmly yes that’s fine one moment, which he then kept interrupting saying no no no now in a very aggressive manner. He then stormed off for a couple of seconds to then turn around and kick both suitcases to close the doors. To cut a long story short we were then turned away when trying to pay, treated in an unprofessional manner, our belongings were kicked, the police were rang over this bizarre incident and we were kicked out of the hotel. I will be taking this further with the company as a whole. Disgraceful!!

The room was OK but didn't look very clean, staff friendly, breakfast was good. The price was probably a bit too much for the conditions. The TV in the room wasn't working. Location very good, close to the tram stop, only 15 min from the city centre
