Hopetoun House edinburgh

Wondrous woods - Most important thing is that my little one loved it here and asks to go back quite a lot. From my point of view it costs a lot of money, some parts were great, there was food on site at.various trucks but there wasn't much variety and the food was also very expensive. For the tickets, food and a flashing light for our little one we spent £100. It took about 30 minutes in total. The staff were helpful and the place was well prepared.

We visited the Christmas Fair. It was very well organised - one way system, loads of staff/volunteers on hand. I had not been here for years and it was lovely to visit again. I would like to visit again.

Lovely grounds for a walk and to pass a few hours. Take a picnic if the weather is good.

Nice stately home, but quite difficult to find and even more so to get there. Driving up the long driveway to house sets up how grand and palatial it is. Good social distancing practiced with very helpful and friendly guides in house. Due to Covid 19 the cafe was closed, however there is a small coffee van in grounds outside but that was all.

Only did a little bit around the grounds. Will have to go back and do the tour. It was really nice to see the wedding being there.
