This might be one of the best places to eat in Oxford in terms of its quality/price ratio. The food is simple, quick, and fairly cheap but with great flavor. I particularly recommend the garlic and chilli mushrooms. The menu is long so everyone will find something special. The service is efficient and the atmosphere is what you would expect in any local of the same price. The only downside is that they only accept cash, so be prepared.

Terrible portion size. We ordered half a crispy duck (12 pancakes). There was enough duck for 3 pancakes, and enough skin/fat for a further 3 pancakes. The other 6 pancakes went in the bin. A standard metal take away container had in it the ‘half a duck’ (must have been a ducking!) and all 12 pancakes, and still had plenty of space in it! The ‘mixed starters’ were 4 prawn toasts, honestly the dimensions of After Eight mints, along with some flaky deep fried pastry (maybe some kind of wan ton?) pieces, a couple of which had some kind of filling the size of half a pea. The rest was just broken up bits of pastry. Never again, total waste of £26, had to buy fish n chips afterwards!

We have used this place from time to time. It's menu is solid and the food is delicious. Only bad point is cash only and no delivery unless you use uber eats which don't deliver to all parts of Oxford.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, cost to quality ratio is absolutely superb. I have ordered both delivery and collection and the service has always been prompt, and the food delicious. They have an open kitchen in the restaurant and while I waited for my food it was very reassuring to see the chefs maintaining a very high level of hygiene. I believe this restaurant has gone through various managers in recent years and the quality has been unreliable, but the current management are fantastic and Hong Kong house is back to being my number one choice every time.

Ordered from here on a couple of occasions now and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my dishes! I tried a curry for a change and there was huge bits of chicken in it, I was quite impressed actually. It will last me two days as portions aren’t small either. The delivery driver is really polite and helpful too, seeing as I’ve been inside for almost an entire year, it’s nice to speak to a friendly human being :D

Had this Chinese for the first time this evening, the food took 15 mins and it was amazing. Portions were massive, and wasn’t greasy like any other normal Chinese I have had. Best Chinese. I would recommend this to everybody!
