The doctors that i have seen have been really nice and always want to help, however they are truly let down by the majority of the reception staff, i think in the years i have been here i have found 1 lovely women on reception but that is it. The other day a receptionist was horrible over the phone to me and said " i told you i have no appointments! if it's that bad go and sit in A&E!" Which i think is disgusting, especially when 111 told me to call my doctors. I had to wait until i could call 111 back for an out of hours appointment, something not suggested by the receptionist.

Avoid at all costs. Very cold and unhelpful staff. There was one doctor there who was really good but it wasnt worth putting up with the dreadful service at reception and the impossible feat of booking an appointment.

I spent 2 hours trying to get through on the phone to book an appointment this morning and called every 5 minutes. This surgery should NOT have decided to change from morning drop-ins to appointments because they are simply too busy in a largely populated area. I'm going to have to register with another surgery because this is the second time in the last few weeks I've tried to get an appointment. Really impractical operation. The drop in system was the best idea and they should go back to it.

No stars sadly at all (had to put 1 star in order to post a review) as I would not recommend this practice or Craven Road. I waited over an hour on a few occasions just for a 10 min appointment. I feel the doctors do not provide proper health care advice during appointments, maybe due to be over stretched? On a few occasions I felt the doctors have not believed a genuine health issue and passed it over as not important. I have also found the doctors don't listen at all. One particular doctor I didn't want to see, as I found her very unhelpful. So I made another appointment again to see another doctor, but was given this particular doctor over again. There is a major lack of support and advise. I wouldn't normally spend time writing a review, but needs must. I have felt messed around as a patient with this being the worst surgery I have been to. These patient experiences should NOT be happening at all, so please look at how to run the surgery better for all future patients. And yes I do contribute each month to the NHS.

I am in disbelief that after having a virus bad enough to collapse part of lungs, then be told to have total rest. When I woke bleeding from nose throat and feeling really unwell was told a certain doctor refused to come out. But in my notes says I was happy to go down?? Totally wrong, also doctor had no idea of medical history and just basically made her notes. Am disgusted

Waited on hold for 30 mins to only have the phone picked up and put back down without a single word being said. The saddest part this is the only way I'm able to communicate with the surgery is through this. No email available and it's impossible to get through on the phone as it seems the staff are just turning off the phones. If the Practice Manager could get in touch this would be much appreciated!

Like most people I am not a fan of visiting the Drs but the staff are so welcoming and supportive here...I really don't mind. Such a contrast to other experiences.

Lovely staff, very caring doctor's who go above and beyond to help you! The wait can sometimes be a bit long but if you've got a free day just take a book or some such to pass the time. I honestly don't understand where all the car reviews are coming from, I have had nothing but good experiences here!
