Jane was very welcoming after we had a hard journey getting here tonight. I was a bit wary of staying here a couple of years ago but the hotel is lovely and Dale and Jane was very professional, helped us to our room as my husband and I were very tired. Also I would definatly stay here again it's much better since the refurbishment and clean.I would give this hotel 5 stars.

I stayed two nights on this hotel last year. I had a disastrous stay here because my bedroom got flooded because the bloody guests above had a bath and forgotten to turn the tap off. I was moved to a different bedroom which was a twin bedroom while I booked double bed. I was in Manchester for a training course. They offered me 50% off on my next visit. Because I didn't use the 50% off offer I went back to them to say that if I can still use the discount offer, the new manager said no because I did not use the offer a year later. Then he offered me again different discount when I told him the dates I want he then said to me that the dates I want is very high in demand. If he really wanted to offer me some discount on my required dates he could just offer me the discount and I'm willing to pay the the rate on those dates. Sadly still is bad customer service. I would rather stay in another hotel nearby and wouldn't come back here again.

It is 3rd holiday inn in manchester where I stayed and this one is the worst. Staff is nice and friendly and even very warm opposite to rooms. I get very cold room where aircon didn't heat. I reported to reception and they changed my room where fun worked but very loud. Not realy good if you need get a rest.

Really friendly receptionist and duty manager. However the restaurantđŸ˜³. We found their menu to be quite impressive so decided to eat their instead. Lovely manager took our orders and sent them. We had to wait over 40 minutes just for the starters. Our friends joined us and made their orders. About an hour later we were told that unfortunately they have ran out of chicken nuggets but we could get chicken breasts to replace. After 40 minutes wait our friends were served before us! We then got ours which was not the greatest to be honest! Turns out it was not chicken breast but an overcooked chicken thigh! For the replacement. I think the chef spent more time doing delivery orders than preparing the food for the guests in the actual hotel. Could see the delivery guys coming in and out/her going through the doors with packaged food. Breakfast was excellent though!!!

Not a great location and our room was grim. Bed was clean and comfy but the carpet had more stained bits than clean bits. The bathroom was nasty, definitely need re decorating. Staff were friendly, check in and out was quick and painless. There's ample parking with security cameras. Just be aware that it's either a car/taxi journey into the city or a fairly long walk.

Good location, went for the xmas Market. Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful. Executive room was a good size although thought the bed was a little hard. Food was good, all in all a good stay and would stop there again. Left my phone in room after we checked out, phoned hotel they were very good, found my phone and kept it in safe for me till I collected it.

Good location, comfortable and good sized rooms. Friendly staff but terrible breakfast. Food was cold, we never saw hash browns even after waiting for 30 minutes. We couldn't even muster the courage to eat the scrambled eggs, that looked at least a month old. Would prefer to stay somewhere else next time.

Lovely friendly staff, nice clean and comfortable room and not to far to walk into Manchester, extra bonus parking on site. Would highly recommend it. Also a great breakfast to set you up for the day, plenty of choice.
