A great city centre hotel for business or pleasure. I have stayed here for the past 6 weeks for work, and even through the difficulties of the pandemic the staff and service has been top drawer. Throughout the stay I feel well looked after, and any questions are met with a smile and a helpful response. The check in and out process is always fast and efficient, but still manages to feel personal. The rooms are kept clean at all times, and are always comfortable and well presented. Overall for such a well located, modern city centre hotel in Manchester, this goes to the top of my list.

The hotel foyer is very open and modern the decor is fresh and the place was very clean. The room was spotless, bed very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. Breakfast £5 extra and a great selection. I strongly recommend this place and next time I’m up there I will be staying there. Well done to the staff, they stuck to the Covid principals well and still managed a great service. Well done too you all. Thanks for a great stay.

Just for a start, this was an overdue review. My bad.. We spend 1/3 of our honeymoon with holiday inn during apr 2019. Checking in was fast, went up to the room, the staffs have prepared a welcome cake with "congratulations" on it. It's a small, but loving gesture for me and my wife. Breakfast's great. Room's service was awesome. Room's clean and counter staffs were very helpful when we asked for directions. Really hope for covid to be over and we will be heading back for sure. Love from Singapore Well done holiday inn!

I can't really endorse this hotel. We saw major service bottlenecks and had to queue in long lines twice. Once just to check in, and a second time for breakfast. The cost of a single weekend night's stay runs to over £170, but you honestly don't get what you are paying for. Considering what the guests are paying, I feel sure they can afford to dig a little deeper to get more staff, and invest more in staff to ensure they are motivated. It would be a good idea to hire more people to serve breakfast, and assign a professional to quickly greet and seat. This has all the drawbacks of a budget hotel, but none of the savings. Breakfast, after the queue, was tired. Fine, but very average. The thing about Manchester is there is a real food scene. You can get a smashing breakfast for less than a tenner across the city, so an understaffed and tired buffet doesn't cut it. Rooms were clean and we slept well. Edit: 2* review adjusted for 1* review in response to the management claim that this review contains "misleading comments" 🤣👍

The hotel is contemporary and very comfortable. The room was a great size and very clean. Brilliantly located in the centre of Manchester. I'd definitely stay again. I arrived after an impromptu 8 hour journey to visit my partner in hospital, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They transferred his booking to me as he wasn't able to use the room.

5/ 5

My first time staying in a Holiday Inn and was very pleasantly surprised. Very good value for money and much better than my experience staying in other budget brands. Staff were helpful, there's good noise insulation between rooms, bathrooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good too! I hope all Holiday Inns are like this, as if they are, I'll be staying more often!
