Staff were great especially Kelly who was particularly helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the prices for accommodation were very competitive. Room was very clean and tidy all in all a great place for our overnight stay.

Staff are so amazing and the room is fantastic. When your in Glasgow you should stay at this Hotel. Your so close to all the shopping. When I arrived at the hotel the staff are very kind and that is everything that a guest wants. The room is cosy and very clean and the bed in my opinion well you will sleep like a baby. I slept from 8pm to 6.30 am. And I never do that so that Tells you about the bed. So once again you will enjoy your stay at Holiday inn Express.

Not at all impressed with the room. Air con kept changing temp all night and the windows are useless at keeping the cold out. Plus the air con unit is right above the bed so it’s blowing down on you. There’s no way to adjust it to avoid this. Older style design compared to the latest holiday inn express rooms. Location is good, it’s riverside but close to everything in town.

Not bad. Nice, cosy room. Pleasant staff. One thing that annoyed me was how cold the room was and the air conditioning didn't do much to heat it up. But the room was very good and practical. Even had a sofa. The bed was very comfortable. And the chair was amazing, I really like such functional desk to make my work pleasant. The location is good too, right next to the riverbank. I recommend this hotel.

Clean, friendly, close to the city center

Room quality not very satisfactory. Only stay here if you prefer free morning breakfast. Location is good , facing river . For parking add extra £12 per day. I will not stay here again.

Friendly people

Very good location which is accessible within the city centre and near the mosque. Very child friendly which was important for me. Our room was big and clean and there were plenty of pillows to choose from. Great transport. Breakfast was great and few choices available especially for my kids. Staff were amazing and helpful. Covid19 regulations in place and staff kept on reminding people to keep their face masks.Yes I would recommend to someone else.

The best part of my stay here was the staff. They were very friendly and tended to what I thought was a hot water issue immediately. Turns out, I did not understand there was a separate control for water temperature. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items, it was well-staffed and the dining area was clean. The location of the hotel was also quite good for me, being within a 10-minute walk of city center. The hotel room however, was quite basic, with some minor issues and one major issue. The sink stopper would not stay up so water gathered in the sink, the thermostat was not working properly, a table lamp fell apart when I turned it on, there were no tissues in the bathroom and the toilet paper holder did not hold toilet paper. All these were minor inconveniences, but the major flaw was the door-slamming noise. The room doors lack a soft-close making door closures so loud that they could be heard throughout the floor at all hours of the nights and mornings. In fact, my room floor vibrated at times. If I am the first to recognize this, perhaps the hotel owner might consider softening the closure of doors. I found the noise to be unacceptable and easily remedied. Why it has not been, is a mystery.
