This Holiday Inn Express is a clean, friendly hotel that provide amazing customer service. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed, and the staff go out of their way to help you in any way you need. Lovely rooms too. Had a great time here. The general manager Erica does an amazing job!

Another speedy, efficient check-in and check-out at another Holiday Inn Express. We got a quiet room, as requested. We were missing some towels, but these were quickly supplied. Breakfast was good and our evening meal was fine, if a little pricey. Only gripe was with the bed, which was lumpy. Time for a new mattress.

First thing is first- I have never complained about a hotel before. On arrival to room number one, we heard this clicking banging noise which was constant- my partner is a light sleeper so we asked to change rooms. When we went to reception we were told we needed to wait as house keeping were running behind (this was after 4pm) so we waited. Got into the second room, shower didn’t drain properly and filled up quickly and then the shower head fell off of the hose and landed on my foot! So I ended up literally hosing myself down! Then someone walked into my room!

Went here for a one day course, so I only experienced the meeting rooms and the buffet area. It is well fitted out and spacious. The staff are very polite and helpful. The provided food and drinks were delicious and we ate in the dining area which was clean and bright. Just remember to enter your vehicle registration number in the machine at the reception desk to get free parking.

Positive: 1. availability of cot for the baby 2. hire chairs everywhere in a canteen 3. children stuff in a canteen was normal(not great) 4. menu in canteen was great even for vegetarians, with a lots of different availability for me 5. comfort in a room was perfect 6. extra heater for the baby was nice(requested) 7. area was nice (with rabbits running near hotel) and lots of free parking 8. staff is very very helpful Negative 1. first room cleaning was horribly, disgusting ( I found pair of socks and condom behind the sofa), but staff was very helpful, change the room an refunded full money- though it was one day ), I have the photos but I wouldn't attach it sorry ) 2. room was at the end of the hall, took ages to walk until the lift 3. I was expecting more refunds/benefits after I found those horrible cleaning room, but they only did refund, let say complimentary upgrades for a better room and free of course, or another stay for free, etc. 4. hotel was really far from center Cambridge, if you aren't with the car, then I wouldn't suggest to go there

Great stay here whilst visiting Cambridge City. Rooms small but had everything we needed. Staff were amazing so helpful. We check out a day earlier due to the weather and they refunded us with no issues. Just dropping one star as the place needs a little investment for example some marks on the walls and carpets. Cambridge is about 2 miles away. We used Ubers which were around £14. Would visit again and would recommend.

This hotel is not the lowest price in the area. The hotel was chosen for our convenience and position with free parking on site. Other nearby hotels were chargeable, off site or public car park. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Reception staff very helpful. Excellent unlimited self service breakfast included in the price. A large number of items on offer which should satisfy most hotel guests

Overall a good place to stay for a few nights.  It is clean and tidy. The rooms are value for the rates charged. Bed is comfortable and bathroom light and is of a good hygienic standard.  In fact the beds are better than a lot of high priced, so called 4/5 star hotels we have stayed in! Parking for free is a massive plus in a city where parking is a premium. Staff are very helpful and provide service with a smile. All round very good. A few attention to details could make good be excellent.  The breakfast self service area is a bit disorganised.. The lovely bacon and associated hot food is situated in a corner of this area, it would improve the flow of residents, collecting their breakfast,  if it was centrally place. The crossiant need to be fresh and warm. Three toasters, not two. Especially as one wasn't working.  And a bit more signage showing a flow through the self service area would help to avoid people crossing each other with trays of food. All this said we would stay at the Holiday Inn Express in the future.

Nice breakfast. Nice room. Nice location. But... during 3 day no one not cleaned the room. I asked twice about cleaning in room. But staff was busy playing with phone.
