Holiday Inn Cardiff – North M4, Jct.32 cardiff

Food poisoning one night then they tried to give me uncooked meat the following night. Had to change rooms due to noise after first night even though the company asked for a quiet room, I was next to the boiler house. Food is expensive, nothing nearby & a beer is 4.50. Only got 2 stars because some of the staff are nice. Not one for writing reviews or taking any notice but had to say something to someone as I'm still stuck here until tomorrow. If you're staying in Cardiff and can't get a room bring a tent & brave the storms.

Entrance is a little on the slim side if you're in a wheelchair or have a pram. Receptionist I dealt with wasn't overly fussed if I was there or not. Bar staff were attentive, yet not all that up to speed on how to use the Starbucks coffee machine.

We had our vow renewal ceremony and party here and it was gorgeous. Many thanks to Andrew and his team on the day, they were brilliant. Ceri you are awesome! My room was lovely too, thanks to the housekeeping team xx

Was a good night out for the rugby. The hotel was basic but was good enough for what was needed. Went back after the game and had a good time in the bar for a few hours. Highly recommend 👌

Good Location To Stay Next to M4 J32. Taxi into Cardiff For Shopping Lunch or Dinner. Pity No Hot Water. Room Comfortable & Clean.

Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast well presented and tasty but not hot. I note it only had level 3 food hygiene but seemed very clean to me.

We were visiting Cardiff for the Wales Vs All Black's game last weekend. Our stay from beginning to end was brilliant. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast a real treat, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our family. A special thanks to Yasmin, you are a star!

I wouldn't stay again, room was damp and dirty, dirty mugs (this is when we first went in), outer wall and windows dripping with condensation and mould, dusty lamps, lights and furniture. Just no care at all in the rooms. Reception staff were great. When I called about the dirty mugs someone from the restaurant answered and said if I want clean ones I would have to go and get them..
